IT IS BECAUSE OF HIM - PART 2

It is because of God...Hallelujah! We are being brought up to know and acknowledge that He is a capable God. It is from Him that all the blessings of divine goodness and mercy emanate, and beloved, the mystery of "It is because of God" will be fully known in heaven. More below!

"It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God: our righteousness, holiness, and redemption."

Today I'm expounding the first segment of the above versified statement:

It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus.

The statement is a standard divine enlightenment which points to the reality of "God being the reason, as well as being in control." As born again Christians, He placed us in a place, namely Christ, a realm in which our atmospheric analysis consists of permanent and eternal values, and nothing can weigh against the superiority of this truth. 2nd Timothy 1:9 reads, "He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time" (NIV).

What does this mean? Being saved or born again was never a human perspective; it has always been a divinely-inspired purpose. God had it in His plan before the beginning of time, meaning that it is because of Him that we are included in Christ Jesus. Got it? Psalm 25:1 says, "O Lord, I will honor and praise your name, for you are my God. You do such wonderful things! You planned them long ago, and now you have accomplished them" (NLT).

The surest evidence of the hope, faith and love we've embraced in Christ is based on acknowledging that God is the reason we are no longer condemned to experience eternal damnation. Romans 8:1 reads, "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" (NIV). Who made it happen? God! Now watch this: If I am found in Christ, and if there is any special indwelling of Christ evident in me, which is symbolic of the essence of God I contain - it is all because of God.

1st Corinthians 1:9 (NIV) reads, "God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord." If you are a born again Christian, and you think that you are the one who authorized yourself to participate in a continual divine fellowship with Christ, think again, then change your mentality and the object of such thought, by reason of this biblical truth. It is because of God that your were called into the fellowship of His dear Son, Jesus Christ. And He began this by choosing you in Christ unto salvation.

Now the question that comes to mind is: What is the attribute of this God who has made us to keep happening in Christ? Firstly, bear in mind that He doesn't have the characteristic of an individual; He is indeed a Supreme Deity. Secondly, we are discussing about a Deity with divine nature; His realities are immortality, immutability, steadfastness, inexhaustibility, infallibility, authenticity, awesomeness or majestic scenery, dependability or reliability, accuracy or exactness, eternality or perpetuity, boundlessness or infinitude, plus interminability as an ageless Supreme Deity. All of these are classical proofs of God's sovereignty and they affirm a continued believability in His "all-embracing" supernatural ability.

On account of "It is because of Him", you are not supposed to let any one, any circumstance or anything discourage you in life. In all your ways, acknowledge God, and keep exercising your dominion in Christ Jesus. Remember, Christ Jesus is the greater One inside of you, and it is not your own doing. It is the Heavenly father's doing and it is marvellous in our eyes (Psalm 118:23 ESV). Hallelujah! Stay tuned for part 3. Shalom!

Gracious God, you have raised me up with Christ and seated me with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.
