YOUR INHERITANCE - PART 8
MONDAY 29 JULY 2024
How do I claim or obtain my promised inheritance in Christ Jesus? This is a good question, and in the successive parts of this hermeneutic teaching that will bring this topic to an end, I will focus on expounding the viable means of demonstrating faith in the elucidation of the promises, which will most assuredly, lead to the possession of any inheritance in real life. More below!

Reference: Galatians 3:18 New International Version (NIV)
"For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on the promise; but God in His grace gave it to Abraham through a promise."
When you make your research as you study the Word, you'll notice that the details of our inheritance are published all over the pages of the Bible through a trusted pattern of theoretical framework known as promises, which you can analyse and access their in depth explication in order to grasp what is freely given - indicative of manifold possession and expressive of divine possibilities.
Simply put, search the Scriptures and locate the promises. Then declare the promises in order to be positioned and conditioned to act on the descriptions that will, in turn, shape your reality, and also practise praying effectively to receive and gain experiential access to what is given. To that effect, Joshua 1:8 reads, "Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to OBEY everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do" (NLT). As for assurance of effectual fervent prayer, Jesus said, "Ask and it will be given to you..." (Matthew 7:7 NIV).
Beloved, the promise is a system of knowledge, and its knowledge is all about the spiritual, substantial, material and natural inheritance in Christ. So it is more of knowledge gained through Scriptural observation and cogitative analysis based on eternal truths, than experimentation. For instance, you can locate the informative contents of a specific promise in the versified passages such that they become a knowledge systematically organised, and then, you can cogitate on the full details with ardent alacrity.
Responsively, the present-day internet is replete with versified references that can provide extensive information on any promised inheritance of your choice, and they are readily available and accessible at any given time. Observations are no longer limited to reading the hard copy of the Bible. Internet system allows us to easily gather and obtain specific knowledgebase on any number of desired promises in relation to our inheritance in the Kingdom of light. Praise God!
Why do the promises require cogitative insight into detailed specification? It is to first of all, gain the ideational and specialised effect of the revelatory insights within your mental space and reasoning, bearing in mind that the promises are not human opinion or academic information, such as scientific knowledge that requires intellectual understanding, which can be communicated through research publications, as well as science textbooks.
So in order to assimilate the divine notions that convey inheritance and the godly influence they communicate, you must convert the theoretical wisdom into practical knowledge by cogitating and acting on the description regularly so you can claim or possess them, and more so, over time, they will begin to exist as your constant reality, otherwise they will remain unsubstantiated in your personal Christian life.
Pauline epistolary expression numbered as Colossians 3:16 reads, "Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God" (ESV). This also denotes that divinely-based knowledge of your inheritance can be subjected to teaching, discussion, exploration and further examination of unfamiliar areas - among the saints, and by comprehensive assessment and alacritous cogitation, the Spirit-inspired information becomes registered in your inward being, thereby empowering you to receive and enjoy what the promise informs and provides. Stay tuned for part 9. Shalom!
Scripture Reading - 2 Samuel 7:28; Matthew 6:31-33; Ephesians 3:20-21; James 1:17.
Exuberant Declaration:
My spiritual blessings, material blessings, physical blessings, financial blessings and glorious destiny are rooted in the victory of Christ Jesus. Indeed, Christ was raised from the dead for me to experience abundance of grace and omnipresent favour, and I'm forever grateful to God! Hallelujah!
