Reference: Acts 9:36 Common English Bible (CEB)
"In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (in Greek her name is Dorcas). Her life overflowed with good works and compassionate acts on behalf of those in need."

Genesis 1:31 reads, "God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning - the sixth day" (NIV).
Now watch this: God said it was very good. Who responded when God looked upon all that He had made? The Spirit of good works! The satisfactory remark was made possible by the Spirit of good works, denoting that there was no mistake, issue or "trial and error" during creation. More, the Spirit of good works ensured that any observatory communication between God and all He created was explicitly accepted as satisfactory.
To clarify this notion further, all the prophecy of good works in the book of Genesis embodies the truth that everything God made is good, and is significantly designed to glorify God. There were several versified statements such as Genesis chapter one [verses 4; 10; 12; 18; 21; 25; 31] that jointly entail the consistency, stability and alikeness of idea conveying that the Spirit of good works pronounced its approved influence on creation. For instance, verse 4 reads, "God saw that the light was GOOD..."(NIV), which is a desirable and standardised quality of light God wants.
Good works are the "maestoso" exhibitions of what God intends for the benefits of mankind. To that effect, the Spirit of good works is evident in all the majestic attributes of God's works and all the blaze of His artistry, and it is acknowledged in the heavenly realms, as well as uttermost parts of the earth or the farthest regions of this world.
Having considered Dorcas' behavioural manifestation in her devoted attention to good works and acts of charity, the Hebraic awakening indication numbered as Hebrews 10:24 reads, "And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works", meaning that as born again Christians, we can exhort one another in such demonstrations; an encouraging response that empowers our spiritual understanding and corresponding actions in line with the gospel truth.
In addition, Galatians 6:9-10 reads, "And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith" (NKJV). In other words, good works always have a rewarding effect. Other Scriptures on "good works" which I exhort you to consider from the standpoint of alacritous cogitation are:
Proverbs 11:25 (NASB)
"A generous person will be prosperous, And one who gives others plenty of water will himself be given plenty."
Proverbs 19:17 (NIV)
"Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done."
Luke 6:38 (NKJV)
"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you."
Titus 3:8 (ESV)
"The saying is trustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people."
Beloved, the relevant or appropriate promises God attached to good works are always in full force. As a further matter, having and operating in the Spirit of good works, means living out or manifesting the mind of Christ, and it is shown to others or mainly displayed in our world through our actions and conversations, which are in conformity with God's precepts and Christ's example. Shalom!
Scripture Reading - Matthew 5:14-16; Hebrews 13:16; 1 Timothy 6:17-18; Titus 2:7-8; James 2:14-17.
Exuberant Declaration:
I'm a perfect handiwork created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that I should walk in them. As God's own master work, I often step into rewarding possibilities that stem from living the good life He prearranged and made ready for my glorious encounters on earth. Hallelujah!
