Reference: Colossians 2:6-7 New International Version (NIV)
"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."
The entirety of our referenced Scripture discloses the uniqueness and permanence of the message about Christ, which differentiates Christianity from any religious group. The message is divinely exceptional in supplying the renewal of vigour, leading to transformative growth, deeper faith in God and clearer revelation of God's plan and purpose for His chosen saints.
In today's article, I'm rounding off my analytical exposition regarding the versified segmentary statement below:
"Strengthened in the faith as you were taught"
To be strengthened in the faith as you are being taught equally implies building and shaping your Christian life, belief system and attitudinal manifestation in accordance with the godly tradition, vigorous impartation and glorious inspiration that emanate from the Word.
This "strengthening" is not just about inner empowerment, but also about bodily invigoration, aligning your spirit, soul and body with the realities of divine nature and purpose, meaning that it embodies God's renewal care for both the inward man and the physical body that manifest the outward life. Therefore we now gain the cognitive essentiality that "spiritual" and "physical" strength renewal are interrelated empowerment from God.
Now watch this: In Pauline epistolary expression numbered as 2nd Corinthians 4:7, the Scripture noted that:
"We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves" (NLT).
In this very passage, apostle Paul revealed that the genuine power at work in us springs from our dependable intimacy with the true source, namely Supreme Deity, even though our bodily structure is of dust, a frame-like representive of first Adam, who was from the earth [a man of dust].
So the Scriptural revelation is only pointing to the figural origin of the physical body [fragile clay jar], which the first Adam was made of (See Genesis 2:7 NIV), enabling us to bear in mind that dust serves as an innate emblem of human frailty, yet it doesn't imply that the physical body does not get strengthened by the Word [a life-giving Spirit]. Indeed, and in reality, the quickening power of the Word can strengthen or vitalize the mortal body (See also Romans 8:11 DRB).
In a nutshell, as the Word is being taught and instilled, the transformational power of God can occur in the spirit, soul and body, becoming apparent as having an impact in all aspects of the saints' development, including their physical bodies and individual behaviours, thereby overshadowing all natural effects of humanity.
Zero wonder, apostle Paul, in his epistolary expression numbered as Philippians 4:13, informed that he could do all the things he listed - through last Adam who strengthened him (NKJV). To that effect, the ensuing transformation following "divine strengthening" emerges to be all-encompassing. Hallelujah!
Stay tuned for part 10.

Guided Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the eternal effects of last Adam in my spirit, soul and body, which bring life and impart light to all aspects of my Christ-like formation at full-range aptness. Being strengthened by the ministry of the Word guarantees the effectiveness of my Christian faith and the profound exertion of my supreme authority in last Adam, and for this reason, I obtain my all-round stamina by yielding daily to the influence of the transformative power of the Word, in Jesus' name, Amen.
