THE MYSTERY ABOUT VISION SIMPLIFIED - PART 2
Its not enough to have a vision. If you have one, you must make two decisions: first, decide that you are going to be nothing less than successful with it. Second, decide that you're never going to change your decision.
Reference: Habakkuk 2:2-3 Amplified Bible (AMP) 'Then the Lord answered me and said, “Write the vision And engrave it plainly on [clay] tablets. So that the one who reads it will run. “For the vision is yet for the appointed [future] time. It hurries toward the goal [of fulfilment]; it will not fail. Even though it delays, wait [patiently] for it, Because it will certainly come; it will not delay.'
In the presence of God, always ask for vision. Demand for more insight so you can see more. The upgrade of your insight into details that relate to your vision will change your status of operation in the natural. There are ordinary visions and ideas that so many people are pursuing and they are easily accessible. They are voices, dreams and ideas about life which are cheaply available to all, even before you get born again. God made them accessible to all because He knows that not all men can function by His Spirit.
Few days ago, I talked about the Scripture which reads, 'watch and pray'. The end part gave us two options that influence your watch: the spirit, which is willing and the flesh, which is the weak channel (see Matthew 26:41 NIV). In other words, we have the spirit and the flesh as media. Those who watch (grasp their vision) by the spirit access divine possibilities more than those who watch and function in the flesh. Why? Its simply because the flesh is a weak channel. This means that its not everybody that can access a Spirit-birthed and inspired vision.
Here's the mystery about having a vision simplified: You must have a vision about yourself first. How do you see yourself? Has God talked to you about you? In other words, before the vision of your future, do you really know who you are? Have you ever engaged God in a communication where you are the subject of the conversation? Beloved, before the excellent vision, comes the visionary. This is the reason two people can have the same dream and their interpretations of that dream will be totally different. What influenced the difference is their personalities. 'Who you are' is going to determine how you see the vision, how you write it, where you write it and how clear you make it.
The place where you write the vision matters. Our referenced Scripture says, “Write the vision and engrave it plainly on [clay] tablets.' In other words, inscribe it on a stone (rock). Clay tablet is a type of rock. Did you remember the tablets of the law, or the stone tablets in Exodus 34:1? They were the two pieces of stone inscribed with the vision of the Ten commandments. That vision was engraved on stone tablets by Moses when He ascended the Mount Sinai to meet with God. For you, what does your vision mean to you? If it really means a lot, then write it on stones. Why on stones? You are writing on a solid ground, where it can never be erased. God has given all of us great visions but we are so careless about it. Instead of engraving and securing it on a permanent place where it can never be wiped away, we even end up losing the details.
The secret about a vision written on a stone is this: When you lay your vision on such foundation, no matter who wants to talk you out of it, you'll never buy their idea, because you have the original idea and it is secure. So the engraved original empowers you to revisit it, stick to it and stand firm, even if a famous prophet tells you otherwise. Not having your vision engraved on a solid rock might be the reason why some people are coming your way to contradict the vision. Be wise!
Sometimes vision is birthed out of pressure or given in a despairing state. However, it doesn't make any difference because its just a version of yourself. The vision will surely speak if you run with it. Just study yourself and ask God to reveal all versions of yourself to you because there's the brass version, the silver version, the gold version and even a higher symbol of your version and value - the platinum. As you ask God to grant you insight into these versions, He is going to usher into the stages by progressive revelation, because versions give value to vision.
