THE GOOD NEWS
In Romans chapter 1, Paul proclaimed that he was not ashamed of the gospel. He was eager to preach the gospel because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes. It is the good news with power to deliver, make free and keep free. This power is in the Name - Jesus!
Reference: John 8:36 New King James Version (NKJV) 'Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.'
If Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, makes you free, you shall be free indeed. This is a timeless good news. If you are living in sin, addicted to drugs, alcohol, gambling, anger or any wrong practice, and you've tried over and over to break free from your addictions, but you're still engulfed in their webs - Jesus is the answer to your quest. It's only by turning to a power greater than the addiction that you can get freed and stay free. Jesus is not just the answer, He is the power.
You can only be permanently delivered from your predicament and the addictions that embarrass you, if you consult and embrace Jesus, the Great Physician that ends all manner of physical and spiritual symptoms, connected to sinful nature. In Matthew 9:2, in the process of healing a paralytic, Jesus declared, 'Take heart son, your sins are forgiven.' He added in verse 6, saying, 'So that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins...'
In the same chapter, Jesus also said, '...It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick... Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick...For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance' (verses 12-13). Indeed, this is the good news! So how do you get free? The Bible says, 'If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved... For "Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved."'(Romans 10:9,13 NIV). Getting saved is getting free!
When you feel irritated by your sinful nature, and you're tired of restlessness and worldly addiction, call on the Name of Jesus. His Name and presence is what makes free, brings peace to your soul and fills the emptiness within you. Even if you're not yet tired of your sinful nature, remember the Bible says, 'The soul that sinneth, it shall die' (Ezekiel 18:20 (KJV).
The guide to freedom is this: 'But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die' (Ezekiel 18:21 KJV). The only way to turn from all sins is to come to Jesus. And guess what! Jesus wants to make you free now. So when you're tempted to turn to your addiction to find relief, turn to Jesus instead, and declare His Lordship over your life, by saying the prayer of salvation below.

Guided Prayer:
Dear Father in heaven, I'm tired of my sins and my sinful nature. I've come to know that its only Jesus that forgives sins and makes free permanently. Therefore, I truly believe with all my heart that Jesus is your beloved Son who died for my freedom and was raised from the dead on the third day. I believe He's risen and He lives forever. I accept Him into my heart and I declare His Lordship over my life from this day forward. I'm now a new creation with divine nature. I have eternal life: my present-moment reality! Thank you Lord Jesus for saving me and taking full charge of my life, as my Lord. Amen!
