Reference: Deuteronomy 10:15 New King James Version (NKJV)
"The LORD delighted only in your fathers, to love them; and He chose their descendants after them, you above all peoples, as it is this day."
One of the descendants of Abraham, whose name got my spiritual attention is Amminadab. This was because of the significant nature of his name. Amminadab means "my people are noble." His father, namely Ram, gave him that wonderful name.
Although he was considered as a minor character in the Book of Exodus, he was the Father-in-law of the High Priest, Aaron, the brother of Moses. In other words, his daughter Elisheba, was given to Aaron in marriage, making him Aaron's father-in-law. So Amminadab was one of the ancestors of King David, and therefore, he was a forefather to Jesus, as mentioned in the synoptic Gospels (the book of Matthew and that of Luke).
He was precisely the eighth descendant among the fourteen generations which started with Abraham and ended with King David. Again his name means "my people are noble." The father who gave him the name knew that the Lord took delight in His people. Being noble people here is beyond having high moral principles.
Amminadab had a noble blood which refers to the history of his lineage having some highly distinguished Patriachs with prestigious influence, synonymous or harmonical with divine royalty. Indeed Amminadab's lineage was a favoured ancestry that historically enjoyed gracious privileges, divine power, and godly identity.
Amminadab's people were considered noble because the LORD took delight in His people (Psalm 149:4 NIV), and they had this wondrous gift of a considerable or substantial share in God. Beloved, can you equally say that your people are noble? We have to acknowledge the truth that there are Christians who don't even consider themselves that way, because they are not yet conscious of their spiritual lineage, let alone living or functioning accordingly. They have not settled down in mount Zion since they arrived, and I'll come this truth shortly, in order to give my words more emphasis.
Hebraic awakening intimation numbered Hebrews 1:3 reads, "The Son is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature, and He upholds the universe by the word of His power. After making purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high" (ESV). In accordance with this versified verity, did you notice that after Jesus had provided purification for sins, He ascended into heaven and sat down at the right hand of the Father? That means, he arrived in heaven and settled down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
Indeed, no one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven (John 3:13 NKJV). No one ever will either climb or fly there, except He that came down from Heaven; even the Son of man which is in Heaven. But in Him we have ascended to mount Zion, and in Him we have received God. Hallelujah! In other words, all the noble blood who have received the redemption, which was provided by Christ have ascended to mount Zion. To that effect, Hebraic awakening intimation numbered as Hebrews 12:22-24 reads,
"But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, You have come to the assembly of God's firstborn children, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God himself, who is the judge over all things. You have come to the spirits of the righteous ones in heaven who have now been made perfect. You have come to Jesus, the one who mediates the new covenant between God and people, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks of forgiveness instead of crying out for vengeance like the blood of Abel" (NLT).
Beloved, many Christians have come to Mount Zion, but they have not settled down since they arrived. This is the reason they don't understand how much the LORD delighted in their spiritual forefathers, to love them, let alone recognising and operating with the consciousness that He chose us as their descendants after them, above all peoples, as we are today in Christ.
In order to settle down in Zion, you must consciously embrace your inextricable union with the Divine, with an attitudinal expressiveness that reflects Christ's preeminence on earth, and also respond to God's delight in your fathers by establishing a stable lifestyle which strengthens the notion that you are the seed of Abraham and that you truly belong to the assembly of God's firstborn children, whose names are written in heaven. Stay tuned for part 6.
Scripture Reading - Proverbs 17:6; Psalm 100:5; Philippians 2:5; Ephesians 3:14-15.
Exuberant Declaration:
I acknowledge that I'm a powerful saint in Zion and a superior god on earth. I'm bigly enriched with a life-giving Spirit, and I flow with the grace of being an active participant in the delight God invested in my fathers which is consistent with the mind of Christ. Therefore, I sustain a considerable harmonious association with the divine entities resident in mount Zion. Glory to God!
