Every physical attribute, or bodily form of glamour, is an uncommon revelation of God's workmanship which is of great mystique characterizing the earthen vessels of the saints, and we shall discover accordingly, as we appreciate the beauty and wonders of God's glory in shaping the inherent features of David's outward appearance. More below!

Reference: 1st Samuel 16:18 New King James Version (NKJV)
"Then one of the servants answered and said, "Look, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, who is skillful in playing, a mighty man of valor, a man of war, prudent in speech, and a handsome person; and the LORD is with him."
In accordance with the above versified reference, the fifth segmentary statement to be expounded by my humble self is:
"And a handsome person" (Youthful Comeliness).
Although I have read 1st Samuel Chapter 16 uncountable times, one pertinent comprehension I discovered in the chapter is the truth that when it pertained to David's matter, the Lord examined and authenticated the beauteous and gracious inclination of his heart, as well as, favoured his outward appearance. That means, "Double looks or double consideration." However, this wasn't the case with David's siblings, as in, other sons of Jesse.
To instantiate this verity-based observation, let us swiftly examine the contextual intimation in relation to the procedure that led to David's anointment, within the passage below, numbered as 1st Samuel 16:5-7, and it reads:
Samuel replied, "Yes, in peace; I have come to sacrifice to the Lord. Consecrate yourselves and come to the sacrifice with me." Then he consecrated Jesse and his sons and invited them to the sacrifice. When they arrived, Samuel saw Eliab and thought, "Surely the Lord's anointed stands here before the Lord." But the Lord said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart" (NIV).
You can acknowledge that shortly before David's time for anointment was due, his handsome and stunning features garnered appreciable recognition, meaning that, as long as God was concerned, his "fine-looking" perspective was mentioned with an approved importance [that is, considered as satisfactory]. Notably & markedly, the Bible says:
"So he sent for David and had him brought in. He was glowing with health and had a FINE APPEARANCE and HANDSOME FEATURES. Then the Lord said, 'Rise and anoint him; this is the one.'" (1st Samuel 16:12 NIV).
Just like David's elder brothers, Eliab, Abinadab, Shammah and the rest, there are handsome men with well-formed muscular physiques and also, beautiful faces with well-built curvy figures whom the Lord may never endorse the recognition of their outward distinctions and comeliness? Why? The favour of God is missing.
Put differently, in God's sight, "You are fearfully and wonderfully made" is not synonymous with every beauty and handsomeness in the world of mankind. The Lord favourably delights in the outward appearance of His own peculiar people, who are His chosen saints and most prized possession. Why? He bought them with a high price (1st Corinthians 6:20 NLT), hence everything about their features and typical details matters to God. Beloved, are you born again? If so, indeed, your earthen vessel is not ordinary in any way or form because everything about you is supremely blessed.
Even David Himself knew that there was something about his distinctive attractiveness. To that effect, he stated so in Psalm 139:14, which reads: "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well" (NIV). Notice the very end of the rendering: "I know that full well." In other words, he wasn't in the dark concerning the cognizance; he acknowledged and identified with the wondrous awareness of his handsome features, thereby viewing his physical or bodily appearance as an exemplary product of God's artistic genius. Stay tuned for part 8. Shalom!

Exuberant Declaration:
I acknowledge that I'm fearfully adored and wonderfully made by the Almighty God, whose ceaseless and marvellous works are magnificent and superb in nature. Blessed be God!
