PEACEFUL LEADING - PART 1

Updated: 6 hours ago

WEDNESDAY 01 OCTOBER 2025

This is a new topic, introducing the Holy Spirit as our leading agent, who in a masterly manner, knows and fully understands the journey you are taking with Him, which is implicative of your walk with God, and I trust that after gaining the spiritual understanding of this topic regarding His leading role and ability, He will continue to lead you and me into all the purposes of God's perfect will for our lives. More below!

Reference: Isaiah 63:14 New Living Translation (NLT)

"As with cattle going down into a peaceful valley, the Spirit of the LORD gave them rest. You led your people, LORD, and gained a magnificent reputation."

To bring to our spiritual understanding, a brief contextual and narrative analysis surrounding our versified reference above, here below is the versified passage that guides us into the cognizance of the profound realities embedded in our referenced Scripture:

This is Israeli's praise for God's deliverance, and it reads:

"Then they remembered those days of old when Moses led His people out of Egypt. They cried out, "Where is the one who brought Israel through the sea, with Moses as their shepherd? Where is the one who sent His Holy Spirit to be among His people? Where is the one whose power was displayed when Moses lifted up His hand - the one who divided the sea before them, making Himself famous forever? Where is the one who led them through the bottom of the sea? They were like fine stallions racing through the desert, never stumbling" As with cattle going down into a peaceful valley, the Spirit of the Lord gave them rest. You led your people, Lord, and gained a magnificent reputation" (Isaiah 63:11-14 NLT).

Beloved, as with cattle going down into a peaceful valley, the Spirit of the LORD gave the Israeli descents rest. This is the Spirit of God, and a perfect rest from Him. Even though the first segmental aspect of our referenced Scripture, "As with cattle going down into a peaceful valley" is a metaphorical expression, a valley denotes a low area of land, yet His governing strategy does not decline in a valley, or diminish in any wilderness situation. The Holy Spirit shares many beneficial influence with those who metaphorically find themselves in such natural surrounding, namely valley.

"As with cattle going down into a peaceful valley." After my prayer regarding this topic, I pictured in my spirit, fine-boned and fat-tailed livestock, which were highly fed with manna-like edibles to fatten them. Where were the locational point of the "cattle in motion"? It is was a view of valley scenery in a countryside which was fully furnished with peace, and they were provided with a plentiful aura of rest. The source was the Spirit of God! However, considering the importance of His leading role in our Christian walk, I will mainly direct the expository structure of this topic towards His consistent involvement in the life of a born again Christian, not on the "Old testament" Israeli descents' Spirit-led events.

Even those Christians who have been on the fence regarding knowing and walking in step with the Holy Spirit, can recognize that there is this deeper signification in gaining a positive mindset in any valley condition, on account of divine guidance and unearthed spiritual communication, because the Spirit offers a unique type of governing display that builds an unperturbed coordination and assured confidence, as well as an unwavering trust in God through His all-encompassing superintendence and arcade protection in "valley" circumstances.

Yes, the Spirit of God gives the saints rest, just as cattle find rest when led into a peaceful valley. And of a certainty, the name of the LORD was and is to be continually praised for doing these things. Stay tuned for the successive parts of this wonderful topic. Shalom!
