ON THE TABLET OF YOUR HEART - PART 3
WEDNESDAY 01 FEBRUARY 2023
You can fix steadfast love and faithfulness in your heart and wear them like a pendant around your neck because you have the advantage, which is the Holy Spirit. More below!
Reference: Proverbs 3:3-4 English Standard Version (ESV) "Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man."
It is unwise to avoid what will attract favour and good success. When we activate our devotion to God from our hearts, we experience His steadfast love and faithfulness, and in turn, we walk in them toward or before God and man. And when we do so habitually, our ability to function without extending God's love to others and to walk in unfaithfulness is weakened and muted.
How do we activate this favour and good success? The Word of God is instrumental in experiencing God's favour and good success in our lives. This Word is the true light that shines in the sight of God and man (see John 1:1-5 NIV). Did you notice the word, "shine" and "sight"? You will find favour and obtain good success in the sight of God and man when you speak the Word into manifestation. God's sight will acknowledge it and man's sight will admit it because it shines brightly. By sight, men recognise the light of the Word you declare, such that you'll gain their favour and activate good success because the Word is quick and powerful (Hebrews 4:12 KJV). Beloved, the Word in your mouth will always open the door of favour and grant you good success, but it is the Holy Spirit that perfects everything about your success because He is the genes of steadfast love and faithfulness in you.
To keep experiencing favour and good success, the Word of God must be applied to every aspect of our lives. This is because functioning in favour and good success denotes a life of exceptional glory that emanates from the Word. To that effect, the Bible says, "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success" (Joshua 1:8 NKJV). Admittedly, when David said in Psalm 23:6 (NASB), "Certainly goodness and faithfulness will follow me all the days of my life..., he was activating the lasting influence of both spiritual forces in his life and also, thoughtfully understand that he spoke it forth into existence.
In other words, we must always give verbal expression to the Word of God because God activates His favour in our lives through the spoken Word. Every purpose of speaking the Word is to drive home the dictates into our inner being and develop the confidence that programmes us for favour and good success. So if you're inconsistent with speaking the Word of God, it means that you're not steadfast or faithful with it. This is why you need the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, in order to activate faithfulness as a fruit of the Spirit, which is the character of the recreated human spirit. This will help you to be consistent with speaking the Word. By this exposition, you can understand that the Word functions by the power of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, being continually filled with the Spirit will grant you the maximum load of divine ability in relation to speaking the Word.
Our fellowship with the Spirit of God makes us peculiar in terms of walking in steadfast love and faithfulness, and conditions our human spirit and mouth to become sensitive to declaring the Word by faith. It doesn't matter the circumstance, if you're in constant fellowship with the Spirit of truth, you'll always be in charge and succeed because He inspires the Word in you, thereby positioning you to experience sundry favour and good success. Therefore, do not underestimate the power of engaging the Holy Spirit in continual fellowship, because there's no limit to your success if you understand the Spirit that dwells in you, as well as the power of speaking God's Word. Shalom!
