God will always honour His Word in our lives if we connect to it with all our hearts. To that effect, Romans 10:10 reads, "For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith..." (NIV). What or who are you to believe with your heart? The Lord Jesus Christ.
To function far from a troubled heart and to guard your heart against such, listen to this: Jesus Himself said, "Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me" (John 14:1 ESV). Got it? Your belief system must be attuned to the Godhead, which is the only way to refrain from experiencing a troubled heart in this world.
In practical issues, such as exercising our faith in God, your heart must be in shape and in tune with the Word, and for the sake of point and emphasis, we do not arrogate any kind of blessing without the enabling influence of the Spirit, who is our seal and the attestation of our justification. So as you connect your heart to the Word, you must observe, discern and perceive the leading voice of the Spirit as well. More below!

"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it."
In every aspect of life, there is a weighty connection between your heart and your earthly activities on a daily basis. It is your heart that translates your views into intuitive understanding, and connects your consciousness to the material world in existence. It is your heart that converts spiritual understanding to earthly experiential knowledge and its even from your heart that ordinary views of reality are responded to.
When the Bible says in Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV) - "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, it means that your heart is a doorway to accessing the certitude of God's faithfulness and therefore, you should practise placing your heart on the transcendental sphere of spiritual understanding, which is beyond the realm of human mind.
You'll never get lost in human despair, if you are more than willing to trust God with all your heart. Even as you do so, the results you continually realise will become a God-kind of results. In a nutshell, your heart is the engine that provides a comprehensive view of all-encompassing human experiences. For instance, it is the vehicle for pleasure and cheerful countenance, as well as broken spirit, anxiety, sorrow and distress.
When you faithfully engage success principles or the dictates of any promise in the Word - with all your heart - you are bound to succeed in any area of life. Some Christians may have lost access to their God-given miracle because they were not adequately prepared for the timing - in the depth of the heart. Seeing and experiencing the reality of any possibility is based on how prepared the heart is. Now you can understand the weight of this instructive insight, "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it."
The Psalm of David says, "I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; before the "gods" I will sing your praise" (Psalm 138:1 NIV). Beloved, even in the realm of thanksgiving and worship, it takes every nerve cell and every piece of living tissue in your inward being spinning into the "wholeheartedness" of your soul, plus undivided attention - to honour God with your paean. Simply put, "with all your heart."
Indeed, Solomonic inspired utterance reads, "O my son, give me your heart. May your eyes take delight in following my ways" (Proverbs 23:26 NLT). In other words, cultivate a hearty concord with Supreme Deity while dealing with the issues of life. That way, He'll make His ways clearly known to you, for divine direction. Shalom!
With all my heart, I believe and accept the testimony of the Word and the Spirit in toto. Therefore, I acknowledge that I take delight in acting on the Word and following the leading process of the Spirit, which in turn, empowers me to guard my heart with all diligence. Hallelujah!
