GOD IS THOUGHTFUL OF YOU - PART 1

Today we are going to consider one of the inspiring effects of Davidic mindful and concise collection of psalms. David developed the consciousness of his intimate personal relationship with God which conditioned him to acknowledge that God always explored his heart and knew exactly who he was, more than he knew himself. To David, his life was an open book before God; hence, no matter the situation or distance, he knew that His divine presence was always with him because he obtained an unmistakable understanding that he was never out of God's sight and mindful observation.

Reference: Psalm 139:17-18 Living Bible (TLB) "How precious it is, Lord, to realize that you are thinking about me constantly! I can’t even count how many times a day your thoughts turn toward me. And when I waken in the morning, you are still thinking of me!"

This is so true and important for the existence of every child of God, but the problem is that many Christians don't readily realise it. They would rather acknowledge, entertain or become inundated with the burden that their enemies are thinking and planning evil about them than embrace the truth that God's precious thoughts is all about them. Beloved, the Psalmist analysed God's knowable cognizance about him and perceived that the thoughts could not be numbered! He couldn't even fathom them out, having realised that they outnumbered the grains of sand! Indeed, David's attempt to explicate God's mindful thoughts about him ran into untold discovery.

What's on God's mind right now? Me! Can you confidently affirm this and maintain it as true in all your life's activities and engagements? Imagine what's going to happen to your life if you believe it for long, just like the Psalmist, who said, "And when I wake up, you are still with me!" For me, this verity always flows in my constant meditations in this manner: God always tunes into my life's channel and focuses on thinking of me as His ceaseless awareness on every present moment. For this reason, I have no single reason to worry about anything in this life, come what may. Did you get it? This is my mindset constructed on the foundation of Davidic ruminations concerning the Lord.

Beloved, God already knows everything you're going to do or say today before you even start the first sentence. Remember He assured that He would always be with you, meaning that if you look behind you, God is there with you. If you look ahead, He is there, too. His reassuring presence follows you everywhere and believe me, this is too much for the human mind and its so wonderful that many people can't take it all in. The Bible says, "...and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:20 AMP).

Make no mistake, God is profusely, passionately and affectionately thinking about you now and always, more than the enemy's schemes against you. Therefore, do not be deceived into thinking otherwise. One of the Scriptures that will help you to develop this knowledge as a fixed awareness is Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV): "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." For me, its a life-continual advancement to always keep in touch with this very Scripture and I do well to take advantage of its application as a force or overpowering influence that governs the quality of my existence in Christ. The very notion that God is thoughtful of me keeps me invigorated on a daily basis; it designs and depicts my hope as immortal in every aspect of life; it keeps me far from lower pursuits in life and it repels the arrows of doubt and worry in all cruxes of my existence. Exuberant Declaration: The Spirit of God has illuminated my spirit with the Word and enlightened my mind to know and understand that God is forever mindful and thoughtful of me. In this I take comfort, knowing that the thoughts God thinks towards me right now are replete with affirmation of peace, not of evil, to keep me stable in tranquillity and unco prosperity. Praise God!
