FAITH FOR DIVINE HEALING
WEDNESDAY 08 SEPTEMBER 2021
Those who believe in the ministry of the Word easily develop faith for divine healing and stay in consistent health. When you know what the Word says regarding divine healing and health, you can engage the power of its revelation for your healing by speaking it forth. In other words, you can confidently make bold declarations about those Scriptures and God will confirm it in your body.
Reference: Acts 14:9 New International Version (NIV) "He listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly at him, saw that he had faith to be healed."
Paul and Barnabas visited Lystra to preach the gospel and there was certain man in their midst, who was lame and had been that way from birth, meaning that he had never walked. While they were preaching, Paul and Barnabas came close to where the crippled man was sitting. As he listened to Paul while he was speaking, Paul looked directly at him and saw that he had faith to be healed. For this reason, Paul said with a loud voice, "Stand up on your feet!" and the man jumped up and began to walk.
Having studied this referenced Scripture, I realised that the crippled man paid undivided attention to Paul and Barnabas while they were preaching the gospel. For this reason, his faith was powerfully stirred and made strong. Then Paul, who was full of the Spirit, observed that the man's faith was filled to the brim to receive. Paul's observation is known as law of discernment and of miraculous working while, by paying apt attention, the crippled man observed the law of desire, law of expectation, and law of faith. And they are the definite protocols for activating divine healing and miraculous encounters.
If you want to get healed from any kind of disease or infirmity, pay more attention to the collection of Scriptures concerning divine healing and spend time meditating on them. If you haven't seen the healing yet, hold on to those Scriptures for your healing and keep nurturing the desire to be healed. Be expectant and exercise unwavering faith in the Word, by claiming the verses to yourself. Before you would know it, every dimension of divine healing would find expression in your body as you desired, expected and spoke by the Spirit of faith which arises in you.
Just like the lame concentrated on Paul's teaching and was saturated with faith for healing, spending time in the Word of God and fellowshipping with the Spirit help in every way. Even if you are weak and tired, keep listening to the Word until its message swallows up your weakness or tiredness. The seed of faith the messages will plant in you has a way of aligning and positioning you to receive divine healing. Therefore, you must feed on the knowledge of the Word concerning divine healing until you begin to host and manifest the reality of the workings of God's Spirit in your body.
Romans 8:11 says, "But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you" (KJV). Beloved, it is the Spirit of God that quickens your mortal body to get healed as the Scriptures that spur your faith to receive are planted in you.
What must you do to retain and enjoy your healing after getting healed? 1. Remain in the Word and feed on it on a daily basis. 2. Share the testimony of your healing often. 3. Always agree with God and be committed to serving Him faithfully. 4. Keep your faith alive and active.
By living according to the realities above-mentioned, divine healing and health will become a steady part of your life. Shalom!
