While we live for Christ, we must make every effort to persevere in faith in terms of what are called to do, the goals we implement to achieve our various purposes, how we focus our mind on actualising the realities ahead of us, and the quality of decisions we make from time to time. This is because in Christ, we are called with an eternal purpose in God's mind for us, and as we do embrace the purpose, the hidden desires and expectations placed within us by God will become openly established, such that our profiting will appear to all men, even as we readily await Christ's eternal reward.

Reference: Philippians 3:14-15 New International Version (NIV) "I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. All of us, then, who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you."
Following each of the above verses promptly is the fundamental part of the message of the glorious gospel of Christ. Don't become neglectful of the order of such divine insight. In other words, although it is Pauline personal confession, you are expected to store the utterances in your mental space - as the inspiring wisdom that urges you onward in your journey of faith. It can also enhance your preparation for divine eventualities and encounters.
Apostle Paul affirmed that he pressed on toward the goal to win the prize for which God called him heavenward in Christ Jesus. To "press on" here means, to continue to do something especially in a practically-determined and steady manner, come what may. Paul had a winning and forward-thinking mentality and his mentality was heavenly based, in terms of thinking about and working towards winning the prize of his heavenly calling. Hence, he was mindful of the goal that would lead him to fulfil that purpose. He was determined to only sprint towards the goals consistent with his calling: to cross the finishing line, to hear God's congratulatory message of "well done my faithful servant" and to win the prize associated with higher calling, which is exclusively attained in Christ. So the apostle's mind was occupied with thinking about and pressing on toward the future glory. What an extraordinary mindset!
What is it that God has placed in your mind and heart to accomplish, both in the Kingdom and your walk of life? As the mature, Paul encourages you to embrace this heavenly-dedicated point of view, by pressing on with upward and forward thinking in the pathway of your purpose. With such forward thinking and movement, you can conjure up the vivid mental images of your next level even before you start drawing up the blueprint on your notepad. As long as you have this mind - which was Pauline expressive experience, anything is possible, if you believe, behold and go for it. It is indeed a viewpoint or perspective that can keep you far from distractions and empower you to bring divine plan, purpose and ideas to manifestation. Stay tuned for part 2. Shalom!
Scripture Reading - Colossians 3:2; Galatians 6:9; 1 Timothy 6:12; James 1:22.
Exuberant declaration: I press forward and ahead in my Christian life, with unwavering faith and courage towards the goal of accomplishing my purpose and fulfilling my glorious destiny in Christ Jesus. I do so by shedding the dominating thoughts and obsession of past accomplishments and focusing on the great things ahead. My motivation and mindset function parri passu with the notion of gaining the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!
