DIVINE DISCUSSION - PART 3

WEDNESDAY 29 JANUARY 2025

Reference: John 17:10 New Living Translation (NLT)

"All who are mine belong to you, and you have given them to me, so they bring me glory."

Today's article is still focused on the segment:

"All who are mine belong to you" (Sense of Belongingness).

Pauline epistolary expression numbered as 1st Corinthians 12:27 reads, "Now you [collectively] are Christ's body, and individually [you are] members of it [each with His own special purpose and function]" (AMP). Here, the intense focus is on Christ upholding those who belong to Him [the saints], by means of a secure bond that holds everyone of us together in God.

Colossians 3:3 reads, "For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God" (NLT). Our lives are hidden treasures glued together with Christ in a Supreme force known as "Most High." Zero wonder they are always discussing about our lives of glory in heaven. Look at it again: your life is hidden with Christ in God. What else is the main subject of discussion in this Scripture, if not our precious lives? And its amazingly noteworthy how the heaven's "quality world" is massively dedicated to our all-round well being, such that none of us born anew into this same family of origin, is taken for granted. Hallelujah!

More so, the concept of your real life being hid with Christ in God denotes that you can't find such kind of life in the world, or rather, the world does not offer it. The location is Christ, and so, the very manifestation of this life is by an inextricable union with Christ - [hid with Christ] permanence...Got it?, portraying the eternal worth and immortal significance of this life, which only comes from a genuine relationship and oneness with Christ. Zero wonder Johannine literature numbered as 1st John 5:11-12 reads, "And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life" (NIV).

Indeed, all who are Christ's belong to God. On the contrary, this means that it is not all the people in the world that belong to Christ. If so, what did those who belong to Christ do differently in order to belong to Him? Another Johannine literature numbered as John 1:12-13 reads, "But to all who believed Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God. They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God" (NLT). The clarity that comes with this versified statement is paramount; and that is, beloved, those who have received Jesus Christ as Lord are empowered through their belief system to become God's own birthed offsprings.

The Bible which is designed as a direct wisdom from God also notifies us that God did not start this discussion during time realm; divine discussion has always been an eternal routine generated and hosted before the foundation of this world. To instantiate this verity, Jeremiah 1:5 reads, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you [and approved of you as My chosen instrument], And before you were born I consecrated you [to Myself as My own]; I have appointed you as a prophet to the nations" (AMP). It was in a divine discussion that God approved Jeremiah as His chosen instrument. In other words, the versified statement informs that God discussed about him being His appointed prophet, even before he was formed in the womb.

Again, in a more clarified statement, prophet Jeremiah was a divine discussion transmitting a verbal intelligence that witnessed a developmental change - which implies that a discussion from God's mouth passed through a period of transition that manifested or resulted as a prophetic instrument in the natural world. Stay tuned for part 4. Shalom!

Scripture Reading - Psalm 100:3; 1 Corinthians 6:19; Galatians 3:28; 1 John 1:3.

Guided Prayer:

Heavenly Father, your collaboratory discussion with Christ always exerts real weight of influence and lasting impact in my life and world, and I'm immensely grateful that the impact is viewed as a continual realisation of your eternal purpose in Christ, which upholds and strengthens me in the path of fulfilling my glorious destiny, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
