DIVINE ARCHETYPE - PART 5

TUESDAY 23 APRIL 2024

One of the spiritual blessings in Christ that still baffles me is the ability to uphold all things by His powerful Word. So many Christians are simply overwhelmed by their condition of praying and waiting for God to answer whenever He wishes, as well as trusting in His name and longing for His presence to come down from above, but there is something more beneficial, which is to decree a thing and make tremendous power of God evident - in favour of having it established according to your dictates, and it is highly applicable in the realm of sustaining all things by His powerful word.

Reference: Hebrews 1:3 New International Version (NIV)

"The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven."

Jesus sustains everything by the mighty power of His command. That is the nature of His splendour and glory. He upholds the entire physical and spiritual universe by His powerful Word, carrying the universe along to its predetermined purpose.

Even in church, He pays apt attention to important and significant details such as financial offering, which is a solemn act of worship, and He recognises the highest givers, commending and upholding their deeds by the power of His precious words. To instantiate this verity, a powerful revelation, according to Matthew 12:41-44 informs us that:

"Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. Then a poor widow came and dropped in two small coins. Shortly after that, Jesus called His disciples to Him and said, "I tell you the truth, this poor widow has given more than all the others who are making contributions. For they gave a tiny part of their surplus, but she, poor as she is, has given everything she had to live on" (NLT).

Now, notice that our Lord Jesus Christ sat down near the collection box in the Temple, so He could watch the crowds clearly and closely as they dropped in their money, which is praiseworthy. In the process, He recognised that many rich people put in large amounts, and also acknowledged the giver with the greatest rank at that point in time. In other words, He placed a great value on the weightier givers in the house of God, as well as the most sacrificial giver, upholding her by the power of His Word. Have you really thought of this truth sufficiently? Have you ever cogitated the science of giving big and sacrificially in the house of God and what it means to Divine Archetype, namely Christ?

I can assure you that the versified passage was structured by the mind of Christ to ensure that "financial offering" tradition is practically and honourably maintained in the house of God, especially for the purpose of advancing the glorious Gospel of Christ in all aspects of ministerial responsibility. Personally, I suggest that the versified numbers should be written in bold typeface in all our Biblical translations. Yes, Jesus knew and understood the importance of giving in the house of God. Hence, He upheld that woman by the power of His word. Therefore, refuse to take for granted, anyone who gives their financial resources in the house of God in a bigly manner or both sacrificially and with a cheerful heart, whether the amount is in millions of pounds or dollars, or less, or related to other monetary currencies, for God loves a cheerful giver and upholds them by His powerful Word.

To that effect, 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 reads, "Now I say this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows generously will also reap generously. Each one must do just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace overflow to you, so that, always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed" (NASB).

More recently, many have abandoned this rewarding principle and to my surprise, some people hate and criticise those who give in the house of God, but I am here to announce the GOLDEN NEWS: God loves cheerful givers, especially those precious offerings with pecuniary advantage. This sublime enlightenment is now available to prompt and inspire those who have been avoiding or have minimized the act of giving to God in their faith walk, so they can start doing what it takes to capitalise on this rewarding opportunity that God has given to His people. Hallelujah! Stay tuned for part 6. Shalom!

Guided Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I thank you for making me an archetype of divine grace and mercy in my world. Therefore, I am grateful that each measure of your grace received is used aright, and it makes me capable of possessing more of divine blessings. The measure of my "offering" capacity is the measure of your gift, and the more I give, the more I can hold and the bigger I get. The walls of my heart sustain a growing possession of Christ and His radiance, because your unconditional love has been shed abroad within them. With my faith stretching far into the interiors of your munificence, I thank you for filling the widened space of my storehouse with larger gifts and new possibilities in Jesus' Name, Amen.
