SATURDAY 25 OCTOBER 2025
If you hear divine realities with open ears, but you don't really listen, it will no longer be the same henceforward. Having talked through this with you in the expository structure of this topic, I'm sure that you know that the Holy Spirit often wants to help you to always hear, listen and properly remember. Therefore, my prayer is that you would come back to these teachings in a necessitated time of such need - as a reminder that His enabling ability is what will get you through - if you ever experience an inadequate ability to hear and listen. More below!

Reference: Isaiah 42:20-21 GOD'S WORD® Translation (GW)
"Seeing many things, but you do not observe; Opening the ears, but He does not hear. The LORD is pleased because He does what is right. He praises the greatness of His teachings and makes them glorious."
In line with the above versified reference, the next segmental differentiation to be expounded by my humble self is:
"The LORD is pleased because He does what is right."
This versified statement implies that the Lord is well pleased for His righteousness' sake. So it reveals the impeccable rightness of God's nature. And this timeless truth should often inspire our commitment to God's will and ways.
Think for a moment about the rightness of God: He is always right in reasoning and doing what is right: He makes our paths straight when we activate the accurate acknowledgement of His influential presence in all our ways. He created the sun, the stars, and the universe which is right. He controls and makes everything beautiful for its own time. He constantly refreshes the earth with sufficient rain and dews from heaven.
His artistic works were so right and excellently evident in constructing a high-powered illumination in the firmament of the heavens to give light to mankind on the earth. On account of demonstrating this as His very pleasure during creation, Genesis 1:14-19 reads,
"And God said, 'Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.' And it was so. God made two great lights - the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning - the fourth day" (NIV).
We see His redemptive plan and effect in the world today, as the unfathomable embodiment and representation of true uprightness, and also, the unco fulfilment of His promises in Christ, as the hallmark of His faithfulness in operation. Dearly beloved, I'm forever fixed in admiration of the amazing wisdom He devised in adopting the best plan that would spiritually and eternally deliver mankind from his depraved condition and sinfully-natured functionality.
In view of the precise salvific scheme that would be conducive to the restoration of man's relationship with God, the ministry of Christ the Messiah, was intriguingly introduced on earth, and comprehensively, it was not restricted to the Jewish people; it also expansively reached out to the Gentiles, bringing the grace of justice and righteousness to all and sundry.
Moreover, in view of the time and circumstance in which it was best to introduce the scheme, Supreme Deity did not act prematurely. In its right and fullness of time, He sent His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship (Galatians 4:4-5 NIV). Indeed, the LORD is pleased because He specialises in doing what is right at the right timing. Stay tuned for part 9. Shalom!
Scripture Reading - Isaiah 26:4; Proverbs 3:5-6; Zephaniah 3:17; Psalm 37:5.
Exuberant Declaration:
The concept of delighting in God the Father, who does what is right, is central to living the life of faith effectively. Hence, in the profound view of His faithfulness and salvific power, I bow my knees in apt readiness to eagerly function in accordance with His perfect will on earth. Praise God!
