The Psalmist says, "May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer" (Psalm 19:14 NLT). This would usually take place when Biblical truths are presented to the mind by constant reflection for renewal purposes.
In other words, if all of God's people are ever ready to yield to eternal truth by means of alacritous cogitation, it will definitely influence the words of their mouths and the meditations of their hearts, thereby conditioning their conversational and mental expressiveness to please the Lord.
Our words and meditations can also take the form of singing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs to the Lord. Moreover, the only reason why the words of some people and their meditations may not always please the Lord is that they refuse to constantly yield to the Word which they know is true and powerfully transforming (see Colossians 3:16 NIV). More below!

Reference: Psalm 98:1-2 New Living Translation (NLT)
"Sing a new song to the Lord, for He has done wonderful deeds. His right hand has won a mighty victory; His holy arm has shown His saving power! The Lord has announced His victory and has revealed His righteousness to every nation!"
In accordance with our referenced Scripture, the Psalmist commends the practice of singing to the Lord. To that effect, Pauline epistolary expression numbered as Ephesians 5:19 reads, "Singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts" (NLT). This entails inspiring one another with psalms and songs that come with enlivening and uplifting wordings of unfeigned encomium.

Singing of Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs to the Lord refers to employing the human language as having a pivotal role in conditioning our attitudinal attention to be conformed to God's nature of bringing into play - a glorious victory and wondrous deeds in our lives. So we sing in a way that suggests that we acknowledge His mighty exertions - with an admirable awesomeness. In addition, such singing based on psalters and hymns commensurably assigns the moral ground or platform for the words of our testimony.
Beloved, when you regularly observe the versified statement:
"...be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord."
It is not a simple sign of an ordinary exhortation; being filled with the Spirit informs that it is gainly by the operation of the Spirit working devotion in you, which in turn, produces sincere expressions of God's glorification and adoration. Stay tuned for part 5. Shalom!
Scripture Reading - Psalm 51:15; Philippians 4:8; Colossians 3:17; Hebrews 13:15.
Exuberant Declaration:
The foundation of my devotion to God established through effectual prayers, psalms, hymns and spiritual songs - is made of gracious words and heart-based meditations which are pleasing to God. Hallelujah!
