CRYSTAL HEAVEN - PART 1

MONDAY 18 SEPTEMBER 2023

By the accurate revelation of the Spirit, I hereby introduce to you the theme for this month of September, namely, crystal heaven.

Reference: Hebrews 4:16 New King James Version (NKJV) "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."

The throne room is a more elevated class in the society of heaven. In the first place, why did the author of the book of Hebrews establish the above versified statement? This is purely because of Jesus the Great high priest.

If you read the two verses prior to our referenced Scripture, you'll notice that Jesus Christ is the reason for this instructive invitation. It reads, "Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin" (Hebrews 4:14-15 NKJV). From these two verses, you will notice that we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, and His name is Jesus the Son of God, with a vast "multifaceted" personal human experience. Got it? Having ascended and passed through the heavens, we now have the full approval to honour the unique and timeless invitation to the throne room.

Now watch this: We are told to come boldly to the throne of grace, and now that we are aware of the reason for the invitation, I think it is equally important to understand the setting and background of the place or environment you've been invited to. This will lead us to have an in-depth analysis of the knowledge of the glory of the throne room (Revelation 4), as well as the glory of Jesus Christ, our Great High priest in heaven (Revelation 1:12-16). Are you with me? Moreover, to come boldly, doesn't necessarily mean to "be bold in your approach." To gain a more in-depth understanding of it, you must look at it from the apparent meaning of its spiritual entirety, which implies: "to develop the maturity of conscience and unwavering (unshakeable) faith in your Christian life as you get involved in the divine experiences." Got it?

So why the term "Crystal heaven"? The book of Revelation chapters four and five grant us extreme insight into the right view of God's throne in heaven. In chapter four, John says, "At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it. And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and ruby. A rainbow that shone like an emerald encircled the throne. Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders. They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads." He describes the Sevenfold Spirits of God in front of the throne, after the flashes of lightning and the rumble of thunder, as the seven torches with burning flames.

Now watch this: He states that in front of the throne was a shiny sea of glass, sparkling like crystal. In the center and around the throne were four living beings, each covered with eyes, front and back, meaning that the throne is surrounded by a lion, an ox, a man, and a flying eagle; each with six wings and covered with eyes, who cry "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come" continually. This is exactly where I sourced the topic, "Crystal heaven" (see Revelation 4:6 NLT).

Just as the readers in the Seven Asian churches were designed to be blessed with grace and mercy from God, so has the author of the book of Hebrews prepared our minds to do the same, before God's throne, and Jesus Christ in Heaven. In a nutshell, the assured promise that we can obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need, is solidly rooted in the notion that Jesus, as the great high priest, will always be our comforter, strength in weakness and a friend in time of need, and also keep from us whatever is offensive in God's sight, so as to become perfectly holy. And God, from the throne, will always be our loving God; a great Father and protector. Stay tuned for the detailed examination of this topic, Crystal heaven, in the successive parts. Shalom!

Scripture Reading - Isaiah 6:1; Daniel 7:9; Psalm 11:4; 1 Kings 22:19.

Exuberant Declaration: I come before the throne room to worship God today in all His beauty, majesty, splendour and wisdom. In the field of crystal heaven, I bless the Lord for the revelation of throne room which is not a mere mass of knowledge but replete with divine

principles and secrets - full of grace and mercy. Hallelujah!
