O city of God, what glorious things are said of you! Interlude. The city has been translated to mean "so dear to God" in many different ways, which we shall consider so in today's article. Beloved, don't be barren in the knowledge of Christ and of His heavenly Kingdom, whose death and resurrection elevated us to the highest position in the heavenly realms in Christ. On account of this verity, if then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. More below!

To share in a heavenly calling, you must observe the spoken realities about the city of God, namely Zion. Why? Such glorious effects convey the finest kind of wisdom and truth about our heavenly calling, and also increase our perception and the understanding of its revelation that inspire dedication in our Christian faith. They are versified references that enhance our communication with, and our connection to divinity, plus the awareness of living in the Spirit. They also embolden our faith, hope and joy in the Lord, and equally empower us to keep our thoughts pure and heavenly. Psalm 48:1-3
"The Eternal is great and mighty, worthy of great praise in the city of our True God, upon His holy mountain. Situated high above, Mount Zion is beautiful to see, the pleasure of the entire earth. Mount Zion, in the north, is the city of the great King. In her palaces, the True God has revealed Himself as a mighty fortress"(VOICE).
Psalm 132:13
"For the LORD has chosen Zion; he has desired it for His dwelling place: (NKJV).
Revelation 14:1
"And I looked, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him one hundred forty-four thousand who had his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads" (LEB).
Isaiah 28:16

They position us to rejoice in the Lord, as we consider the treasures of our divine heritage that bestow a sense of fulfilment, unspeakable joy, unco prosperity, inner peace and enthralling beauty of heavenly calling.
