TRANSFORMED TOPOGRAPHY - PART 3
SATURDAY 19 AUGUST 2023
Jesus said something very striking: I am the vine, ye are the branches. Jesus is the pictorial expression or imagery of the vine. The fruitful branches represent those that abide in Christ; who function by the Spirit. The ever-increasing fruit of their supernatural life shows forth by the Spirit, as he transforms their topography in all essence of life. So you are not just a fruit-bearing Christian, you're designed to experience overwhelming and overflowing abundance. This is one of the reasons the Spirit of God wants to reconstruct and upgrade the topography of your Christian walk, bringing it to a whole new level progressively.
Reference: Isaiah 32:15 New Living Translation (NLT) "Until at last the Spirit is poured out on us from heaven. Then the wilderness will become a fertile field, and the fertile field will yield bountiful crops."
"Until at last." No matter the level or stage you are in life, do not slack until you give birth to a greater height or gain access to higher dimension - by the Spirit! Don't give up until it happens at last! Get away from the jingling and jangling of friends and mates, from empty gists and gossips, from unnecessary dialogues and busy distractions of daily activities. Enter into your inner chamber or closet and shut your doors. Then soak yourself into the secret place of the Most High so you can rise to a higher altitude and atmosphere of His glory. By the time you know and acknowledge it, His love and power have poured themselves so much into your hearts by the Spirit (Romans 5:5 NIV). That is the right way to engage the Spirit and enjoy fruitfulness and overflowing abundance.
Isaiah 35:1-2 (ESV) says, "The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad; the desert shall rejoice and blossom like the crocus; it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the majesty of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the Lord, the majesty of our God." Beloved, as you activate the power of the Spirit, every wilderness and desert will turn around and blossom - and you'll sing for joy. The badlands will celebrate and flower like the crocus in spring, bursting into blossom, a symphony of song and colour. Mountain glories of Lebanon - a gift (your portion). Awesome Carmel, stunning Sharon - gifts (overflowing abundance). God's resplendent glory will be fully displayed in your life because the Spirit of God is at work.
Beloved, "until the Spirit takes over." In other words, we cannot do without the Spirit; we can change nothing without Him; nothing significant happens in our Christian lives without Him. To that effect, Jesus said in John 15:5 reads, "I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing" (ESV). Apart from the Lord who is the Spirit, we can do absolutely nothing.
Zero wonder apostle Paul noted, "It is not that we think we are qualified to do anything on our own. Our qualification comes from God" (2 Corinthians 3:5 NLT). Maintain constant communion with the Spirit, so you can express acts of divine conformity and obedience, which are extremely needful. Abide in the Lord by feeding on the Word, which requires complete focus - and He will abide in you. There is a deeper life in Christ; it is the life of the Spirit - the surest way to sustain a fertile field, and remain a fruitful branch that yields bountiful crops. Stay tuned for part 4. Shalom!

Guided Prayer: Dear Father in heaven, you are capable of hosting all-round transformation in my life. Therefore, by reasoned expression, I acknowledge that as a fruit-bearing branch, I function in excellence, divine health, abundance, victory and unspeakable joy, and I enjoy all-encompassing fruitfulness of the Spirit, all year round in Jesus' Name, Amen!
