THE EYE - PART 5

TUESDAY 24 MARCH 2026

In the previous article, I taught about having and sustaining a healthy eye, which is central to understanding, encountering and experiencing the light of the Word, that reveals and transmits divine transformation, abundance, healing, health, and more components of the life-giving grace flowing from last Adam, both in the inner and outer life of the saints.

To that effect, healthy eyes are receptive to divine communications, leading to deeper faith in God, through the light of the Word and enabling influence of the Holy Spirit. In other words, healthy eyes have the capacity to receive God's light and sustain it within.

Notably, the spiritual impact of a healthy eye lies in its ability to perceive and reflect the embodying components of God's light and, when you are completely filled with divine presence, you can receive any desired blessings under the activated influence of true light in you. In doing so, one becomes the living expression of last Adam on earth.

Reference: Matthew 6:22-23 New International Version (NIV)

"The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness."

The next segment in the above versified statement to be considered in my expository structure is:

"But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness."

Unhealthy eyes entertain views that are so different from the Word, which means that they are viewpoints and opinions of light that don't match with the realities and outcomes of light gained in accordance with or in response to God's will. Such eyes easily identify with perspectives of low moral standard, yet even the sharpness of the perspectives produces darkness and negativities, when it is internalized.

So if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness, meaning that with unhealthy eyes, you can never become an effective custodian of God's fullness, and more so, you cannot reveal Him through the life that you live because the light within is darkness, but God dwells in the true light.

It will be beneficial to learn and understand this truth: A "diseased" eye would not hinder the passage of all light. It just focuses on the wrong kind of light, and blocks the right light from being internalised.

Now what is the source of the right light, as well as the solution to unhealthy eyes?

Psalm 119:130 reads, "The unfolding of your words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple" (ESV). Beloved, this is the right kind of light that corrects unhealthy eyes, which cannot reflect, absorb and diffuse godly perspectives effectively, and by the grace of God, I should able to shed light on this verity in the next article - from a deepening standpoint. Stay tuned for part 6. Shalom!

Scripture Reading - Psalm 112:4; Ecclesiastes 2:13; Matthew 5:16; John 8:12.

Exuberant Declaration:

I have a perfect, healthy eye which fills my inward being with the full capacity of God's life and light. Daily, I'm increasingly attuned to the waves of divine realities by building myself up in the most holy faith. Blessed be God!
