SURRENDER YOUR PLANS TO THE LORD - PART 7

FRIDAY 14 FEBRUARY 2025

Reference: Psalm 37:5-6 New Living Translation (NLT)

"Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust Him, and He will help you. He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun."

Today's article is still on the third segmentary statement:

"He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn."

When God makes your innocence radiate like the dawn, it means the assurance that God, characterized as light, will cause your innocent trust to radiate like His reflection in a mirror, thereby illuminating your path, and dispelling all darkness.

I'm sure you know that when you exhibit innocent trust, you're demonstrating the transformative power of faith in your commitment to God. By this I mean that you don't trust God by keeping silent concerning any matter you are presenting before Him; you do so as you decree a thing. To instantiate this verity, the New King James Version of Job 22:28 reads, "You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways." So your innocent trust is a principle that involves shining divine light on your ways through faith-based declarations. You got it!

Furthermore, when God makes your innocence radiate like the dawn, it is indicative of moral and spiritual clarity, which is also likened to a child-like trustworthiness. Have you not noticed that children can exercise the purity of directness and simplicity in their trust pattern - without reservation? Once they trust you in their innocence, they don't gather the perception of any other differing sense of thoughts, except for that matter of course or promise which you have instilled in them. So they really don't have any moral burden attached to the make-up of your promise, which is their confident advantage.

Zero wonder, Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God" (Mark 10:14 NKJV). Yes, the reasoning and imagination of children rely on the simplicity of their mental processes, and that's exactly how the Lord always wants us to demonstrate our trust in Him. Therefore, the elements of your thought pattern in the realm of trust should mainly be observed in this manner: "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things" (Philippians 4:8 KJV).

Don't try to trust God with ineffectual undirected thought process; don't be casual in your reactive trustworthiness to Supreme Deity. Refuse to be easily influenced or highly susceptible to hollow and deceptive philosophy of this present world - while approaching God with your trust. On account of my paraenesis, Pauline epistolary expression numbered as Colossians 2:8 exhorts you to "See to it, then, that no one enslaves you by means of the worthless deceit of human wisdom, which comes from the teachings handed down by human beings and from the ruling spirits of the universe, and not from Christ" (GNT).

Cultivate a clarity of perception - with peaceful satisfaction and passionate connection to your fully persuaded entreaty presented before God, for within your trustworthiness lies everything you need to weave together the cogitative practices and direct relational awareness, that condition you to step boldly into functioning pari passu with God's perfect will for your life. Petrine epistolary expression numbered as 1st Peter 3:4 reads, "But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price" (KJV).

From the inner disposition of a heart, full of trust, you can manifest the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in God's sight, thereby creating an alignment between your internal and external worlds, which will in turn, guide you to live a purposeful life and embrace all your expectations from the Lord in reality. Stay tuned for part 8. Shalom!
