King Solomon was believed to have possessed exceptional wisdom, special insight and largeness of heart and mind, like the sand on the seashore, which is a big part of what made Him quite different and markedly fabulous, denoting that He functioned with the ability to discern and comprehend realities not readily apparent to others. And He received all of these from Supreme Deity, the abundant source of divine wisdom.

Reference: 1st Kings 4:29-30 Amplified Bible (AMP)
"Now God gave Solomon [exceptional] wisdom and very great discernment and breadth of mind, like the sand of the seashore. Solomon's wisdom surpassed the wisdom of all the sons of the east and all the wisdom of Egypt."
After imagining the truth that Solomon's wisdom surpassed the wisdom of all the sons of the east and all the wisdom of Egypt, the awe of divine wisdom has wholly encircled my mental territory and inward being. This kind of awe is rooted in the flow of wisdom power over another, as in, one's superior wisdom surpassing other people's quantifiable wisdom. It is what drives me to desire more of God's depth, since wisdom has levels. Yes, all wisdom are not alike or equal; so we should aim at gaining superlative wisdom and first-rate understanding, to bring forth most fruit. How? More below!
Wisdom has a voice, and the illuminating ability that helps us to grow in wisdom is magnificently embedded in the Word, meaning that the sense of hearing or our auditory signal can be better enhanced by hearing or paying ardent attention to God's Word. True Wisdom comes by hearing, and such hearing, when based on the Word, activates spiritual understanding. Therefore, let us examine ourselves that we may know what sort of hearers we are. Are you with me?
Many a Christian is happy to hear or listen to a good teaching, preaching or sermon, yet they do not fully assimilate the wisdom it conveys due to the pride of carnal or logical reasoning which opposes spiritual wisdom, and therefore they do not grow in intimate fellowship of divine wisdom, or profit by it. The truth is that we can't gain the revelation of the wisdom from the Spirit of God, except we are in tune or harmony with the Divinity of the same Holy Spirit. This is because we can never know the mind of God by human understanding or natural ability; we have to deliberately become spiritually-minded in a habitual way for God to always grant us the spiritual knowledge of His will - by the Spirit of wisdom and understanding.
Since God's judgments and ways are an "unsearchable" great deep, divine wisdom is hidden in His arrangement, His plan, and purposes of His will. And it is sometimes referred to as canons, ordinances or principles; at other times, it is referred to as decision (commands or instructions), counsel (guidance or directives) or determined purpose (end design) of God's will.
Therefore, to grow in divine wisdom, refuse to be guided by worldly principles, or put your trust in such contrary process because they can choke the seed of divine wisdom that ensures the effectual functionalities of Divine life, but rather, interact firmly with the embedded realities of His will - by gaining their accurate insight, in order to establish the concrete manifestation in your life. Stay tuned for part 5. Shalom!
