REMEMBRANCE BY THOUGHTFUL KINDLINESS - PART 1

MONDAY 09 JUNE 2025

I am introducing a new topic, known as: Remembrance by thoughtful kindliness. Sometimes God remembers mercy in the midst of judgment, but this sort of remembrance is entirely different from implication of mercy in the context of judgement. So this specific remembrance is all about the justification of God's faithfulness by endeavouring to favour us, because He is not inconsiderate and forgetful of those who obey His instructions. More below!

Reference: Genesis 8:1  Amplified Bible (AMP)

"And God remembered and thought kindly of Noah and every living thing and all the animals that were with Him in the ark; and God made a wind blow over the land, and the waters receded."

The above versified reference stated that God remembered Noah and all of the wild and domesticated animals with him in the ark. Then, when it was time, God sent the wind to blow over all of the earth, and the waters began to subside.

Through the expository structure of this topic, we can gain access to a remembrance that had a good plan, in order to ensure that the man, named as Noah, who performed his several duties faithfully and diligently, continued in God's goodness, having done all the Lord commanded him to do. What was Noah commanded to do? Genesis 7:1-5 reads:

The Lord then said to Noah, "Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation. Take with you seven pairs of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and one pair of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, and also seven pairs of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth. Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made. And Noah did all that the Lord commanded him" (NIV).

Here in the above versified passage, God used the term "righteous," for Noah, which was a character so rare in his day. Zero wonder every living creature on the earth was destroyed by God, when He could not find any righteous ground on which His forgiveness and compassion would be possibly expressed on behalf of mankind. Stay tuned for the successive parts of this wonderful topic. Shalom!

Scripture Reading - Deuteronomy 32:26; Ecclesiastes 2:16; Hebrews 10:32; Jude 1:5.

Exuberant Declaration:

My outward life is a testament to a deep conviction and confident exhibition that the Lord remembers the faithful. Praise God!
