PRUDENTIAL PROFICIENCY BY CHRISTOLOGY - PART 5

Updated: Jun 23

FRIDAY 20 JUNE 2025

When a man is overly conscious of the presence of the Lord in his earthly dealings, he will always encounter the convincing evidences of God's faithful munificence and intervention - from the perspective of divine superiority or sovereign authority. This sounds like the empirical encounters synonymous with the story of a Biblical figure, namely David. More below!

Reference: 1st Samuel 16:18 New King James Version (NKJV)

"Then one of the servants answered and said, "Look, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, who is skillful in playing, a mighty man of valor, a man of war, prudent in speech, and a handsome person; and the LORD is with him."

The next or third segmentary statement in accordance with the above versified reference is:

A mighty man of valor, a man of war (Gallant & Valorous Mortal).

These Davidic attributes exemplify heroism with amazing success, especially in the military life of Israel. We must accordingly understand that these signs were shown in Him repeatedly, meaning that he operated with the power and continual sense of unusual bravery and audacity.

As a mighty man of valour, David was a living legend with an "exceptionally good" gallant immensity, and one of my essential observations regarding his lifestyle - was his symbiotic nature of identifying with other mighty men of valour within the Israeli society, indicating a mutually beneficial association. To instantiate this phenomenal awareness, 1st Chronicles 26:31-32 reads:

Of the Hebronites, Jerijah was the chief of the Hebronites, according to their generations by fathers’ households. They were sought for in the fortieth year of the reign of David, and mighty men of valor were found among them at Jazer of Gilead. His relatives, men of valor, were two thousand seven hundred, heads of fathers’ households, whom King David made overseers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of the Manassites, for every matter pertaining to God and for the affairs of the king (WEB).

As a man of war, David was afraid of nobody and nothing, having fortified himself with an awe-inspiring light and superior stronghold. To instantiate this verity, a Psalm of David reads:

The Lord is my light and my salvation - whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life - of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall. Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident (Psalm 27:1-3 NIV).

There were overwhelming phenomena of groups that battled and warred against David, but as a man of war, He exuded an unyielding level of confidence and inflexible faith in God. Even though, at some point in his lifetime, he was subjected to a cyclic flow of opposing forces, and was besieged by men of warlike notoriety, plus their accompanied bystanders, he was apparently calm as a baby. When all hell broke loose, he remained strong and courageous, by staying firmly anchored in the Lord with great delight, thereby envincing the mixture of emotional strength and valiantly assured stability, in the face of danger or extreme adversity.

As for the saints whose demonstration of faith-filled operation is by Christology, Pauline epistolary expression numbered as Ephesians 6:10 reads, "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power" (NIV). In accorded addition, 1st Corinthians 16:13 reads, "Therefore, be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong" (NIV).

How? You must always renew your mind and train your spirit to approach anything or challenge from a completely different standpoint rooted in Christological capabilities, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind (2nd Timothy 1:7 NKJV). Stay tuned for part 6. Shalom!

Scripture Reading - 1 Chronicles 12:25; 1 Kings 11:28; Joshua 10:7; Judges 6:12; Nehemiah 11:14.

Exuberant Declaration:

I acknowledge that I have maintained the course, sustained the faith and have persevered daily with the valorous strength of character because I'm overtly conscious of God's favoured ability and abiding presence within me. Hallelujah!
