PEACEFUL LEADING - PART 2

What is the precise perception that emerges from our topic's point of view? "Peaceful leading" observations are useful in equipping the saints with accurate direction and a core set of divine results and favourable experiences. More below!

Reference: Isaiah 63:14 New Living Translation (NLT)

"As with cattle going down into a peaceful valley, the Spirit of the LORD gave them rest. You led your people, LORD, and gained a magnificent reputation."

Today's focus is still on the first segmentary statement:

"As with cattle going down into a peaceful valley, the Spirit of the LORD gave them rest."

This metaphor is a wisdom-based articulation. That means: The rest is gained from His leading experience, and this verity has formed a crucial foundation for my thoughtful expression regarding this topic.

How do we know the cattle were going down into a peaceful valley? We are informed by their resultant experience which is "rest", meaning that they were empowered to dominate, which is far from being at the mercy of the circumstance. More so, an actively involved Holy Spirit contributed significantly to making the atmospheric condition a peaceful valley.

Undoubtedly, that means a valley can be actively turbulent, but in this case, it was very peaceful because the cattle were in good hands - [the Spirit] who was dictating their best course or direction. So there are two important aspects of their advantageous process:

1. Peaceful valley: (Their pathway and environmental status quo were peaceful).

2. Rest of mind: (There was no internal pressure or distress among and within the cattle, because of rest from the Spirit).

The peaceful state of satisfaction in the valley is a standard term for other various possibilities such as their overall well-being and sufficient supply.

Their rest of mind enabled key related propensities such as sense of certainty, sense of safety, cautious stability and instilled trust, and it can be understood as functioning with unco depth, effectual clarity, and pleasant comprehension, stemming from a place of "rest assured" governing influence which is indefinable or supernatural.

When the Scripture is giving the analogy of a valley, the Lord wants you to gain a deep understanding of the subject matter, ensuring that the perception of what is communicated is not only read or heard but also converted to rewarding and impactful outcomes in our Christian lives.
