PACIFIC KINGDOM - PART 10

FRIDAY 25 APRIL 2025

Reference: Hebrews 12:28 English Standard Version (ESV)

"Therefore, since we receive a Kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, and offer to God pleasing service and acceptable worship with reverence and awe."

The last versified segment in accordance with our referenced Scripture, which is to be expounded by my humble self, is:

"With reverence and awe."

When you are full of the Holy Spirit, reverential awe will always be a delightful pattern of your reasonable operation as you worship the Lord your God. You're pretty well sure that you're living a Christian life beyond the ordinary when you serve God and worship Him in an animated state of awed admiration with deferential regard.

When we speak of the throne of grace and its Kingdom which cannot be shaken, you must gain the ideational comprehension that we've been given a life of glory at God's right hand in heaven, and therefore, its a life of royalty derived from Christ, and I think we need to know that such life is a tremendous manifestation of awe and wonderment rooted in beholding the glory of God, just like the empirical cognizance of the immortal entities worshipping God at the throne of grace.

To have reverential awe towards God doesn't mean you are having a panic flight, earthly fear or a feeling of His terror; it doesn't also mean that you are intimidated by the glory of His presence. It simply implies a pious or saintly reverence for His all-surpassing Sovereignty, as a Supreme Deity. And it is conditionally conducive to having a completely perplexed or baffled outlook with respect to an attitudinal approach in adoring His glory, which is quite advantageous to your Christian faith.

By generating His awe-inspiring presence in times of worship, you venerate, deify and revere His Spiritual Fatherhood. Yes, you can stand in awe of God even in your mental faculty and your innermost experiences - on account of His divine manifestations. You can become speechless as a result of experiencing His miraculous deeds and astonishing wonders through your acceptable worship. Being in such state of speechlessness before His presence is a function of an extraordinary effect of your pleasing service and holy fear.

Don't ever get to the point of being too familiar with your dealings in connection to the workings of God's wondrous deeds, or make His presence common with a casual attitudinal response; if it is presently so in your life, you're now becoming quite blase with the things of the Spirit. Ungraciously, you now know God too well, that His overwhelming Deity doesn't move you to fearful awe. Really? None of these things move you again?

Conceivably, you've been born again for so long that you know everything about the concept of new birth and the life of the Spirit, and so, your worship is gradually becoming void of an inspired revelation of His Sovereign Greatness, on the basis of knowing too much about who He is. Hmmm! You had better cry for His intervening influence, or you'll miss God consequentially.

Psalm 33:8 reads: "Let all the earth fear and worship the Lord; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him" (AMP).

Let me inform you that right now in heaven, surrounding the throne are twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them are twenty-four elders who have never gotten familiar with worshipping God. Also the four living creatures, whose bodies are covered with eyes, in front and in back - still declare before the Most High God:

"Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty; who was, and is, and is to come."

Whenever the living creatures give glory, honour and thanks to the Almighty who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him as He sits on the throne and worship Him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:

"You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being" (read Revelation 4:4-11 NIV).

Beloved, none of the living creatures and the twenty-four elders have become too familiar with the presence of the Most High at the throne of grace. From eternity to eternity, they still serve and worship God with fresh revelation of monumental awe, meaning that till this moment, they declare the praise of His glorious presence and Sovereignty with unrestricted reverential fear, acknowledging His Supremacy and Deity as possessing the highest or ultimate power and dominion in the heavenly places and on earth.

In a contemplation of Ethan the Ezrahite numbered as Psalm 89:7, the Scripture says, "The highest angelic powers stand in awe of God. He is far more awesome than all who surround His throne" (NLT). As you hope for immortality, and believe in spending a fulfilling future life of eternity with God, continue on earth to offer to God a pleasing service and acceptable worship with reverence and awe. Shalom!

Scripture Reading - Exodus 15:11; Deuteronomy 10:21; Psalm 33:8; Romans 11:33-36.

Exuberant Declaration:

In the council of the holy ones, God is greatly honoured and fearfully adored; He is more awesome than all who surround Him, and personally, I'm in awe of His ever-growing glory in my life. Praise God!
