OPEN DOORS - PART 2

TUESDAY 27 FEBRUARY 2024

Open doors have to do with divine possibilities and integrity in business dealings based on supernatural assistance. Christ wants us to embrace and experience the excellency of an endless "possibility" mindset and the realities embedded in such process. Since it is spiritually safe and lawful to experience an open door, we should develop its progressive viewpoint to the point of viable fixed awareness, throughout our Christian life on earth. More below!

Reference: Revelation 3:8 New Living Translation (NLT)

"I know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can close. You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me."

I have decided to bear the testimony of the truth in the above versified reference by divine inspiration, and therefore, to expound the truth properly, I have divided the entire Scripture into four segments for insightful enlightenment. The segments are specified below:

1. I know all the things you do

2. And I have opened a door for you that no one can close

3. You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word

4. And did not deny me.

The first segment which is, "I know all the things you do" as it pertains to us, the present new creation, implies that we can never function beyond His powerfully "constant" awareness because He is an all-knowing Deity. Christ is divine, eternal, immortal and infinite, and because of His Divine nature, He is aware of everything going on in heaven and on earth.

As an omniscient Deity, He has a complete and unlimited knowledge of everything; His is all-seeing and well informed. His power made us new creatures; so He knows and sees our minds, wills, intentions, and actions. In fact, His all-knowing and all-seeing ability cannot be fathomed by anyone.

Hebrews 4:13 (NLT) reads, "Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before His eyes, and He is the one to whom we are accountable." So there is no such thing as sudden notice, dramatic discovery or unanticipated development when it comes to Christ's cognizance concerning us. Yes we can experience a breakthrough or discover something about someone we know quite well, surprisingly, but not the Lord Jesus.

Remarkably, we should be mindful that Christ's attentiveness and apprehension are evident in every "particular" of the things we do, which suggests our actions, or dealings pertaining our outward lives. Now, if we know that He knows all the things we do, we shall be wise if we habitually examine our Christian conducts, both in pleasant or favourable times, and in "rough road" moments of our Christian faith.

In addition, Colossians 1:16 reads, "for through Him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through Him and for Him. He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together"(NLT). If He made the things we can see and the things we can't see, then indeed He knows all the things we do. That is to say, everything about our lives and actions is conspicuous before Christ.

Therefore, we must be committed to the steadfastness of pleasing Him by heeding His Word, so that divine wisdom sourced from spiritual realities - will be the driving force or mainsprings of our actions. Then we shall keep experiencing the real and glorious effects of the salvation we've received in Him. Stay tuned for part 3. Shalom!

Scripture Reading - Proverbs 15:13; Psalm 139:1-18; Romans 11:33-36; Hebrews 4:12-13.

Exuberant Declaration:

The Lord's presence begins with omnipresent favour in my life and that which God has begun, opens door for me, accompanied by His loving eye and perfections, which guide my steps plus conducts, and counsel me in manifold aspects. Blessed be God!
