The recognition stage of gaining profitable wisdom is the perception process, and it is highly essential because it empowers us to make sense of the communicated words and commands. More below!

Reference: Proverbs 2:1 Common English Bible (CEB)
"My son, accept my words and store up my commands."
How do I perceive the above versified reference: "Accept my words and store up my commands?" It means "listen to what I say, and treasure my commands." However, no matter the brilliance of the above versified content, the enduring influence it will have over you is only possible when you "store God's words, counsels and directives deep within you, and wholly depend on them."
In accordance with the versified reference, the keywords worthy of notice are "words" and "commands." And in today's article, I will place and define them in meaningful category so we can understand and respond appropriately.
The term "word" in Greek rendering is logos, which means communication of divine reason, concept or ideas which can be converted as actionable utterances when it becomes a speech. Those words can be expressed as the revelation of a rule of conduct, spiritual words that inspire life, transformation and faith lifestyle, or word of prophecy - from the divine point of view. They are viably useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, and God's words demand active and appropriate human response, which implies that it is to be acted upon, which will in turn, position you for the fulfilment of any specified end or results, in accordance with God's will.
Second keyword is "commands." This "commands" is a divine rule or dictate intended to install the right behaviour, and to regulate thought patterns and actions, according to what is morally right. It is an order or principle that must be obeyed. The Greek rendering is "Entole", which denotes an order, charge, instruction, precepts, dictum, injuncton. So every divine "command" is always on point in any case, as ethical directive from God. When you develop the habit of deciding precisely to take actions in response to God's commands, it will justly result in deep-rooted expression of virtuous behaviour and favourable outcome.
Every word from God provides accurate guidance and notable insights, which can influence and perfect the abilities of the human spirit, as well as reveal the appropriate course of action in any specific situation, while His commands convey the foundational principles of practical Christianity. Stay tuned for part 3. Shalom!
