As I bring this topic to a gracious end, I want to accentuate the truth that gaining profitable wisdom empowers us with the utmost ability to live a godly life skillfully - in an ungodly world. Therefore, to deal successfully with all of life's issues, the practical application of divine wisdom must be involved.
Solomonic inspired collection of proverbial written work is part of what made Solomon, the heightened presence of special attention in his day, and the"beau idéal" among the Israel's wise men, and other wise men within all the surrounding nations (1st King 4:29-32); exceptional attributes which also claim the book of Proverbs as the tome of Wisdom. More below!

Reference: Proverbs 2:1-6 Common English Bible (CEB)
"My son, accept my words and store up my commands."
This is a righteous demand for all of God's people: My son, accept my words and store up my commands.
Throughout the book of Proverbs, wisdom is appraised, highly praised and favourably acknowledged in the acquisition of cognitive ethical virtues. It is the most obvious viable way of demonstrating the reception of divine truths which are delivered to our spirits.
When the wisdom of God is instilled into our hearts, it can empower and prepare us for anything in our practical life's eventualities, which includes making the right decisions and choices. That way, we practise the undertaking of living wisely day by day, by observing God's ways, obeying His commands and producing the right results.
Gaining profitable wisdom involves exercising our mental process in knowing, learning, and understanding things of God's Spirit. So we observe the excellency of wisdom, firstly through the positive effects it produces in our minds, and secondly, by the instrumentality of spiritual truths, true wisdom is properly assimilated and internally fitted to produce godly excellence in our actions.
Beloved, the Holy Spirit is the agency of divine wisdom, and in every case where His abiding influence is highly indulged, wisdom secures its full influence on a soul and spirit. The New Living Translation of Proverbs 8:11-12 reads, "For wisdom is far more valuable than rubies. Nothing you desire can compare with it. I, wisdom, dwell together with prudence; I possess knowledge and discretion" (NIV).
If anything else we desire in this present world can never be compared with wisdom, then it implies that Solomonic insight informs that there is no limitation attached to divine wisdom, and this revelatory insight is an outright indication that there is more to the "limitless" Holy Spirit than just being normal about anything and everything people participate in - by leaning on human wisdom which is so limited.
Moreover, wisdom lives together with good practical judgment, which is prudence (see also Proverbs 4:7 NLT). By acquiring wisdom, your mind becomes open to more knowledge, in such a way that you always experience accurate discernment that leads to mature spiritual understanding. True wisdom is also an implantation of new principles of light and life in the recreated human spirit. Shalom!
