GOD'S WORDS ACCOMPLISH INTENDED MISSION IN VARIOUS WAYS

When you speak God's Word purposively, it will surely yield desired result. The best way to administer the Word is nurture the conviction that it must fulfill conscious purpose or intended result, when you declare it.

The Word is efficacious in all facets of life and its effectiveness in producing what it talks about is sure forever. The Bible says, 'Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away (Matthew 24:35 NKJV). In other words, it is eternally potent and settled.

Reference: Isaiah 55:10-11 New Living Translation (NLT) 'The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.'

God's Word is always pregnant with realities. His words are messengers sent forth to accomplish a mission. So the Word you declare will surely come back to accomplish its mission. It will not come back void. This is why words are described based on what they carry and deliver.

For instance, word of faith is the word from God that brings faith. It is transmitted by the Spirit of faith. You'll find it mentioned in Romans 10:8 which says, 'But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim."'

Another example is the Word of life. It is the Word of God that brings life. We see this mentioned in 1 John 1:1 (NIV) which says, 'That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched -this we proclaim concerning the Word of life.'

Another one is Word of prophecy. You can also call it 'prophetic word'. It is the Word of God that carries prophecy. We see this mentioned in 2 Peter 1:19 (WEB) which says, 'We have the more sure word of prophecy; and you do well that you heed it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns, and the morning star arises in your hearts.'

We have the word of exhortation. They are the Word of God that encourages and exhort others. We see it mentioned in Acts 13:15 (NIV) which says, 'After the reading from the Law and the Prophets, the leaders of the synagogue sent word to them, saying, "Brothers, if you have a word of exhortation for the people, please speak."' (See also Ephesians 4:29).

Then we have the empty, worthless or idle words. These are words that convey negativity and oppose the Word of God. In Matthew 12:36 (NIV), Jesus warned and it reads, 'But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.' The NLT used 'idle words' while the NET Bible used 'worthless words'. That means they are carelessly spoken.

In the same Matthew 12:36-37, the Message (MSG) translation says, 'Every one of these careless words is going to come back to haunt you. There will be a time of Reckoning. Words are powerful; take them seriously. Words can be your salvation. Words can also be your damnation.' So don't just speak.

According to today's message, you can tell what your word is about to accomplish before you speak. Therefore, choose the contents of your Words wisely and avoid borrowing negative words that accomplish negative results. Before you release any word, have a premeditated mission for it because will not return void.

As a child of God, once you release words, you will eat the fruits. Remember Proverbs 18:21 (GNT) records that what you say can preserve life or destroy it; so you must observe the contents of your words, in order to have and enjoy the best outcomes.

Scripture Reading - Isaiah 40:8; Proverbs 15:4; Isaiah 45:23; 1 Peter 3:10; Ephesians 4:29; James 3:2.

Exuberant Declaration: The Word of God in my tongue has incredible power. I speak words of faith, life, prophesy, exhortation and healing today and always. Thus, they bring blessings and life and lead me in the path of excellence, success, victory, prosperity, abundance, promotion where I enjoy every good thing. I refuse to speak idle words because I am a child of God and my words are inspired by the Spirit. Thank you Jesus!
