Buy the truth and do not sell it? Yes! It is not for monetary profit; it is for keeps. You buy it, keep it, practise it and depend on it because it is the very oxygen that keeps you alive as a spiritual being in an earthen vessel and it doesn't disappoint.
So truth is the essential foundation of a Christian faith, and divine truth is not ordinary; it is durable, which is denotative of being eternal in a descriptive nature. It is the evidentiary cornerstone upon which our spiritual growth is built up and successfully shaped. More below!

"Buy the truth and do not sell it— wisdom, instruction and insight as well"
In order to gain worthwhile comprehension, I'm still on the introductory aspect of this topic, and for those who made the decision to buy the truth, knowing the purpose of buying it will help to empower you [the buyer] with a proper understanding of the need for it. To that effect, in part 1, I asked a suitably indispensable question namely: What is the purpose of buying the truth?
Firstly, it is a moral virtue that guarantees a ready-for-use purpose. To instantiate this verity, Pauline epistolary expression numbered as Ephesians 6:14-15 reads, "Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace" (NIV).
Secondly, it is a purifying virtue that is instrumental in providing sanctifying influence, thereby enabling a saint to be progressively transformed by the Spirit of truth into the likeness of last Adam. To instantiate this verity, Johannine literature numbered as John 17:17 reads, "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth" (NKJV). In offering seasoned addition, Pauline epistolary expression numbered as 2nd Thessalonians 2:13 reads, "But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as firstfruits to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth" (NIV).
Thirdly, it is a steering or directing virtue which enormously ensures that the desire for divine guidance is met. The Psalmist expressed the desire in this manner: "Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Saviour, and my hope is in you all day long" (Psalm 25:5 NIV). More so, the versified statement which reveals a broader context with regards to gaining divine guidance is numbered as John 16:13, which reads, "When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth..." (ESV).
Fourthly, it is a significant virtue that is favourably instrumental in obtaining "lasting freedom" from the enslaving power of corrupting influences sponsored by sinful nature. To instantiate this verity, Johannine literature numbered as John 8:31-32 reads - Then Jesus turned to the Jews who had claimed to believe in him. "If you stick with this, living out what I tell you, you are my disciples for sure. Then you will experience for yourselves the truth, and the truth will free you" (MSG).
The truth, when practically invested in, by bearing the purpose for doing so in mind, becomes proficiently integral in unco assimilation of spiritual knowledge in a long-term process of building up strong faith and growing up into last Adam.
