Reference: Ecclesiastes 3:11 New International Version (NIV)
"He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end."
God Himself set eternity in the human heart, but this very human heart has got nothing to do with chest, otherwise it would also mean that eternity is set in the hearts of warm-blooded animals, as well as birds, but this is not true. This particular human heart is the central system or faculty within mankind, by which he imagines, intends, purposes, reasons, thinks and understands. It entails the soulish faculties or the seat of inward man such as mind, conscience, entire emotional nature and imaginative impression, including his conscious reasoning and understanding.
A further explanation to hold the firmament of this interpretation - is a versified tool below which emphasizes that the heart of a person is where eternity is well-informed and installed:
1 Chronicles 28:9 (The Voice)
"To you, my son Solomon, maintain a relationship with the God of your father and serve Him with a complete heart in all your thoughts and actions. The Eternal searches all hearts for their desires and understands the intentions of every thought. If you search for Him as He searches you, then He will let you find Him. But if you abandon Him, then He will reject you forever."
A complete human heart is used to discern eternity, and in certainty, a man discerns eternity by embracing and serving God wholeheartedly. But if you abandon Him, then He will reject you forever. Note the word, "Forever." It is the same as eternity! Got it! Simply put, you can miss eternity set in your human heart by missing or abandoning God. So the word "Forever" relates to eternity, and it speaks of a future age when the present heaven and earth will pass away, but the new heaven and new earth will emerge, and before the new age, the saints will have experienced a transitional condition or body transformation (1st Corinthians 15:53 NLT). So the prophetic nature of this statement suggests an eternal weight of glory, aligning with Biblically-based prophecies that envision an age to come when God's visual presence and residence will be evidentially acknowledged among the saints (Revelation 21:3-4 NIV).
Moreover, the condition of a man's heart towards God in this present age is vitally significant in welcoming an eternal experience that will eventually lead to his eternality. To that effect, Solomon was exhorted by his Father, King David, to maintain a concordant relationship with his God [the only true God], and serve Him with a complete heart in all his thoughts and actions, and in today's world, the saints are enjoined to function likewise. Shalom!

Exuberant Declaration:
Eternity planted in my heart is continually accessed and understood through my faith in Christ that leads to my personal divine experiences. Praise God!
