EUPHORIA & PAEAN - PART 4
THURSDAY 19 OCTOBER 2023
Our regular encounters with euphoria and paean are very important. This is because God doesn't just inhabit the praise of His people, according to Psalm 22:3, He also delights in their straightforward happiness, continued pleasure and unspeakable joy. In addition, both terms [euphoria and paean] are pleonasm that also points to our participation in the worship design expressed in heaven (see Revelation 7:11-12).
This implies that we are a chosen generation, called to show forth God's praise and to respond to His supreme, dignified awe, as His representatives on earth. Therefore, both terms convey quality effects that are extremely needful, significant and rewarding to the body of Christ, since they empower the people of God to please Him and magnify His name on earth.
Reference: Ephesians 5:19 The Voice (VOICE) "When you are filled with the Spirit, you are empowered to speak to each other in the soulful words of pious songs, hymns, and spiritual songs; to sing and make music with your hearts attuned to God."
The Spirit of God awakens our faith through euphoria and paean, in response to His divine love. Put in another way, euphoria and paean are the appropriate human response to God's love, His goodness and His faithfulness, while faith is the accurate response to spiritual truths or realities.
In addition, while euphoria positions us to attract a mountain range of possibilities, paean actually installs and decorates us with the aptitude to walk in the reality of those possibilities in a victorious manner, and function in divine favour, as well as enjoy angelic help and assistance.
Emotional benefits of euphoria carry an aura or distinctive atmosphere of manifold or immeasurable intelligence. For example, euphoria frees us from anxiety, worries, weights, pressures, and dispiriting or depressing state of mind, plus every other factor that may hinder us from praising God freely. However, when we move from just feeling euphoric to the point of praising God in the Spirit, our degree of access to exceeding great joy increases. And that is where the importance of the ministry of paean "sets in", bearing in mind that it offers us the beauty and freedom of expressing our gratitude to God in a generous manner.
Therefore, today, our main focus is on paean because it is a vital aspect of our divine activities on earth. Personally, I have acquired years of established inner truth that worshipping with paean denotes our sense of being alive to God which is rich in mellow pleasure. Even our ministering angels think paean because that is the main part of the sequence of actions they regularly follow or practise in the heavenly realms.
So angels cherish our praise and worship sessions as they visit our godly meetings to adore the wisdom of God in the redemption of His church. Or haven't you noticed that as we participate in singing hymns and spiritual songs, full of praise and thanksgiving for God's wonderful deeds in our lives, angelic visitations and responses multiply in our midst?
Beloved, with a burst of joyous paean, we are as sure as ever, to receive more blessings delivered by unseen angels, sent to perform the spoken Word and prophetic utterances released over our lives in the house of God. To that effect, Psalm 103:20 reads, "Bless the Lord, you His angels, Mighty in strength, who perform His word, Obeying the voice of His Word" (NASB).
Due to the capacity of information this article can contain, I will not be able to expound and describe the intense influence of euphoria and paean in our Christian faith and their successive steps in fuelling the accomplishment of our divine purpose, as well as their usefulness in quickening us for the miraculous, whenever we desire to receive from God. However, stay tuned for part 5. Shalom!
Scripture Reading - Matthew 26:30; Mark 14:26; 1 Corinthians 14:15; Romans 15:9.
Exuberant Declaration: Great is the Almighty God, the God of divine nature, the Being of beings, King of kings, eternal, immutable, and all sufficient with all divine perfections. Jehovah is my God, and to Him all power in heaven and earth belongs. He is the true living God that makes known to me the path of life; In His presence there is fullness of joy, and at His right hand, there are pleasures forevermore. Blessed be Supreme Deity!
