EUPHORIA & PAEAN - PART 3

Euphoria and paean whisper their influential characteristics through the tunnel of our aural faculty as we embrace their essential recognition in our walk with God. They have the ability to upgrade our compatibility with divine nature - in real life - through their numerous efficient concretizations, which have a telling effect in our Christian lives. Having considered a relational similarity of characteristics of both terms (euphoria and paean), especially their resemblance in structure of expression, I was strongly led by the Spirit of truth to expound their profound significances in our "day-to-day" practical Christian faith.

Reference: Ephesians 5:19 The Voice (VOICE) "When you are filled with the Spirit, you are empowered to speak to each other in the soulful words of pious songs, hymns, and spiritual songs; to sing and make music with your hearts attuned to God."

What does this Scripture mean? As born again Christians, we have the precious gift of Holy Spirit. By His ability, we can stay empowered - as we get filled with the intensity of His striking influence and commanding wholeness. As we do so oftentimes, it implies that we no longer take the consciousness of His presence in our lives for granted, and so, we equally treasure it by speaking to each other in the soulful words of pious songs, hymns, and spiritual songs, when we meet together in our Christian gathering. Now watch this: Singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, as you praise the Lord with all your heart means a lot to God.

According to our referenced Scripture, the voice translation stated that they are "soulful words of pious songs", meaning that spiritual paeans have a heartfelt and emotional resonance with our divine nature. So, as we gather with other Christian fellows who have received this divine nature from the Lord, we master our new nature and established identity in the Lord through the ministry and sounds of paean, and we are often moved to wonder while doing so, that is, [offering praise by] singing and making melody with our hearts to the Lord.

As a further matter, beware of the counterfeit version of euphoria. By this I mean that a prior versified statement to our referenced Scripture reads, "Do not get drunk with wine, for that is wickedness (corruption, stupidity), but be filled with the [Holy] Spirit and be constantly guided by Him" (Ephesians 5:18 AMP). Getting drunk with strong wine can cause you to be extremely excited and taut with unmanaged expressions, thereby exhibiting wild behaviour due to intense feeling. So Paul warns us about such practice, because a maniacal excitement is not the same as getting excited about the things of the Spirit; sometimes it is felt or displayed by people experiencing mood fluctuations due to negative spirituous influence.

In a nutshell, a drunk person can become uncontrollably hilarious and then maniacal as a result of excess of emotion, thereby howling incoherent vehemence, having had bottle(s) of spirituous liquor or bowlful of strong wine. Although healthy and stable heretofore, his vinous or brewed experience must have led to his unconscious behaviour and wild excitement that sprouted from his attachment to the emission of unworthy signs and effects of intoxication or drunkenness.

But when you are full of real euphoria that comes from the infilling of the Holy Spirit, you become more than a man, because your whole self, (which entails all your inward faculties and divine nature, your thoughts, your heart and will), has been deluged by more and more of God.
