DIVINE DISCUSSION - PART 10
THURSDAY 06 FEBRUARY 2025
Did you know that the universe was created and built for the realisation of Christ's glory? To instantiate this verity, Pauline epistolary expression numbered as Colossians 1:15-16 (NLT):
"Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through Him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through Him and for Him."
If everything was created through Christ and for Him, then you must gain the ideational comprehension that we were created to obtain His glory. Christ's glory is non-human glory, meaning that it is not a purpose that is designed for ordinary human use. Even those who share His glory are not ordinary people; they are peculiar gods like my humble self. More below!

Reference: John 17:10 New Living Translation (NLT)
"All who are mine belong to you, and you have given them to me, so they bring me glory."
Our full service in the Kingdom of light is to bring glory to Christ to an astonishing degree. That's our actual purpose, just like the purpose of driving a vehicle is to take you to your desired destination. So we have been discussed by God Himself and Christ Jesus in that manner, considering our referenced Scripture. To instantiate this verity, 1st Corinthians 10:31 reads:
"So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God" (NLT)
In other words, in our every-day activities and circumstances, God's glory is our accessible language. Someone may ask, "How can a Christian eat or drink for the glory of God?" To get the accurate understanding, let's consider the prior versified statement which reads:
"If I take part in the meal with thankfulness, why am I denounced because of something I thank God for?" (1st Corinthians 10:30 NKJV).
Did you notice that apostle Paul wanted you to determine and establish the aura of God's glory by giving thanks even in seemingly insignificant tasks or in simplicity of minor desirables - like eating your meal? So, in accordance with Pauline epistolary exhortation, even in little things we get involved, or in how we feel in a particular moment, the glory of Christ can find expression. Therefore, determining how you would rather be feeling in any given situation, by giving thanks while building or dwelling on every detail pertaining your life - can help you identify with His glory.
Again, why is it that even in activities that are quite natural to us, we are to acknowledge the necessity of participating in them for the glory of God? The glory of Christ is not trivial or lightweight in nature, and it can never be less in importance, seriousness, or significance. This reminds me of the very Scripture that reads:
"For our present troubles are small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!" (2nd Corinthians 4:17 NLT).
In the above versified passage, we can acknowledge that even the glory which is produced and generated from an insignificant trouble is considered as eternal weight of glory, far surpassing to excessiveness. Have you ever considered the real meaning of eternal weight of glory? It is a connotation of something - heavy in nature and description, and it is far beyond comparison and time realm. The glory of Christ can never suffer a weight loss; it can never lack value, depth, and influence.
What about the riches of the glory of this mystery, namely Christ? The Bible says, "God [in His eternal plan] chose to make known to them how great [for the Gentiles] are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in and among you, the hope and guarantee of [realizing the] glory" (Colossians 1:27 AMP).
In His present glory, Jesus' glorious effects are quite different from what His earthly appearance looked like, according to the book of Revelation 1:12-16 (NIV), which I encourage you to read and study cogitatively. Shalom!
