Deepening your spiritual understanding of the Word is symbolic of delighting yourself in the LORD through an in-depth study of graciously-inspiring Scriptures, which activates an increasing level of deep-seated spiritual contentment.
In other words, when you develop an insatiable steadfastness in your studying character, as it pertains to the Word, it will surely result in a spiritual fulfilment that comes from an ardent comprehension of the Word, which conditions you to readily align your thoughts with God's will, as contained in the Scriptural passages. More below!

Reference: Isaiah 42:20-21 GOD'S WORD® Translation (GW)
"Seeing many things, but you do not observe; Opening the ears, but He does not hear. The LORD is pleased because He does what is right. He praises the greatness of His teachings and makes them glorious."
In today's article, the focus is still majored on the first segmental differentiation: "Seeing many things, but you do not observe."
Its a markedly positive and fabulous thing to see many things as you study the Word of God, meaning that Scriptural truths are exceedingly broad. However, how consistently a Bible study's result can impart a beneficial effect within your innermost being, is dependent on your ability to sustain the empowering influence of the Spirit of truth at the time of needful study. Why did I say so? Studying the Scriptures under the influence of the Spirit of truth produces a clear-cut inspiration and the beneficial effects outweigh the act of simply reading the Bible like any other book, even with a meticulous approach.
Like I mentioned in part 3, there are five principles of truth the Holy Spirit guides us into, as we study the Scriptures. They are as follows: The truth's...
1. Reliability,
2. Accuracy,
3. Validity,
4. Relevance, and
5. its true reflection of God's mind.
The truth's reliability implies the trustworthiness and consistency of the revelatory insight. In other words, its never failing, but rather, always effective in guaranteeing the certainty of right outcomes.
The truth's accuracy suggests a more precise and error-free enlightenment that is applicable to the specific context of the Scripture or versified passage being considered, which is rightly judged in accordance with God's perfect mind regarding the Scripture, and again free of revelational errors.
The truth's validity ensures that the conclusions drawn from the versified standpoint are based on correct inferences, on account of a sound study, with a sound mind in operation, which in turn, ensures that the truth is fit for its purpose, and assuring that the results it leads to, can always be proven with substantial evidence, on the strength of extrapolation.
The truth's relevance suggests its thorough appraisal and summing-up consideration that is suitable or proper in the written context, as well as in our "modern day" circumstances, or how it directly applies to a real-world setting. A truth's relevance is equally useful for godly decision-making.
The last principle but not the least is that the truth must be a true reflection of God's mind, such that it is both succinctly and sufficiently beneficial and applicable to any given situation, in accordance with the will of God.
Dearly beloved, Pauline epistolary expression numbered as 2nd Timothy 2:15 reads, "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth" (ESV). Stay tuned for part 5. Shalom!
