FRIDAY 15 AUGUST 2025
When you come to the level of personal realisation that you are a priceless beneficiary of God's grace, and a fully qualified candidate of His goodness and mercy, singing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs will become a wise influence in your life, as well as the indication of your true identity in the Lord. More below!

Reference: Psalm 98:1-2 New Living Translation (NLT)
"Sing a new song to the Lord, for He has done wonderful deeds. His right hand has won a mighty victory; His holy arm has shown His saving power! The Lord has announced His victory and has revealed His righteousness to every nation!"
The Lord has announced His victory and introduced a new revelation of righteousness to every nation, and in doing so, He unfolded His redemptive plan, which involves or incorporated the inclusion of the Gentiles, serving as a testament to God's faithfulness and sovereign power in working out His divine plan on earth. We also understood in my previous article that before the revelation of His righteousness was made possible on earth, he called upon the nations where He chose His elect in the counsel of eternity before the world's creation.
Are you aware that our referenced Scripture is the testimony of God Himself? Its an exhilarating encomium written about God's own miracle. Yes, He experienced a tremendous miracle because His right hand won a mighty victory; His holy arm demonstrated His saving power; He announced His victory and revealed His righteousness to every nation! Are you with me? By discovering, illustrating, and confirming all the escapade of God's supernatural exploits, we should be joyously inspired to sing an awesome paean to the Lord oftentimes.
Beloved, sing a new song to the Lord, for He has done wonderful deeds. And in my contextualised exegetical viewpoint, a paean to God entails songs of beatitude, a Psalmody of quality praise, hymns of grace, a melodious shout of mega triumph or jubilation, and a cheerful celebration of His exaltation. That's how to make full sense of and derive full benefit from His wonderful deeds.
I may not have enough space to specify the full advantages, the rewarding effects or beneficial importance related to the observatory influence of inspired Psalmody by encomium, but here is the main point: By incorporating paeanic encomiums into your daily routines and vocabulary, you can effectively experience tremendous level of Christ's victory, including His "all-encompassing" saving power in all aspects of your life.
For certain, the common mistake righteous people can make is to function with the lack of this knowledge, but if you are mindful of this error, you can avoid it by ensuring that singing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs to the Lord is an inevitable part of your daily Christian walk. [Personally, I call them three-dimensional perspective or pattern of paeanic expressions].
I therefore urge you to daily appreciate God's gracious deeds and unco faithfulness in your life with all the three-dimensional method of offering paean to God which He desires from us because in accordance with the depth of His profound wisdom, He has provided the saints with such unchanging mode of declarative praise and worship. Hence, gaining more and more understanding of psalters, hymns and spiritual songs is of paramount importance; for it will not only grant you a heightened awareness or insight into God's purpose for Kingdom exploits, it will also empower you to experience all manner of miraculous encounters for your own good. Stay tuned for the final part of this wonderful topic. Shalom!
