COME TO ME - PART 2

WEDNESDAY 22 JULY 2026

Who is the Man who asked us to come to Him? He is the head of Kingdom of heaven which cannot be shaken; a spiritual Kingdom full of love-giving life and heavenly hosts; a Kingdom that transcends world-wise intelligence and operations.

He is our great high priest who is touched with the soft feeling of human infirmities, including that of getting weary and heavily burdened, because He knows exactly how it feels to be natural in earthly sense or in every respect as we are, and even more so, he experienced the ferocity of human meanness, which led to His crucifixion.

More importantly, He is a Man of His word; Yes, He's powerful enough to grant you rest, if you come to Him. More below!

Reference: Matthew 11:28 New International Version (NIV)

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

While spreading His living Word, the Lord Jesus said, "Come to me, all who are weary and burdened..."

Did you notice that the Lord invited "ALL" who are in this very categorical description?" Not some!

For easy recognition, "All" includes both His friends and enemies, not only His cheerful friends or His ardent followers, meaning that Jesus' heart was completely very pure, in relation to His invitation, which is the signature quality or hallmark of living a life of the Spirit on earth. Therefore, it can be rendered as an accurate truth that all male and female, all race and gender, all rich and poor, facing great difficulties and countless wearisome circumstances are free to come to the Lord.

Beloved, being weighed down by despairing boredom and the cares of this world - is the culmination of massive distress, and when it translates into a heavy burden, it implies that all-consuming torture, torment, misery, powerlessness and pitiful pictures have saturated or invaded the victim's mind and life, but by the light of divine love, Kingdom of heaven has summoned the victims to come boldly, in accordance with the command of the Lord.

Interestingly, are you aware that many a person will continually keep a deaf ear to this life-changing invitation? For this reason, divine rest becomes pathetically foreign to them, and as they remain stubborn, they reject a heavenly-organised wisdom for their all-round rest, which makes their limited "blindfolding" decision, a delusively-inspired suitability, resulting in non-conducive ravaging pathway, which they have chosen to walk in. Nevertheless how gloomy things have become, it is still highly possible to remind them today of the Master's recommendation which is:

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest..."

Stay tuned for part 3. Shalom!

Scripture Reading - Psalm 4:8; Psalm 62:5-6; Psalm 91:1; Psalm 116:7.

Exuberant Declaration:

I'm completely fruitful, supremely blessed and highly favoured because I have come to Christ Jesus, and I belong to Him forever. Through His help obtained from above, I live and function far above all distressing circumstances and cares of this world which do not have any permanence, because I'm enriched with noticeable joy and better comfortableness of abundant life in last Adam. Hallelujah!
