ALL SCRIPTURE IS INSPIRED BY GOD

The Word of God has transformational power because it is inspired by God. It's impregnated with divine breath which is capable of springing life within you, producing the fruit of the Spirit in you, and establishing God's truth in your life. So the Scripture, which is God-inspired writings, should not just be read like any other book because it is designed to be graven on the heart of every Christian believer for their spiritual growth and development.

There's an attitude to adopt while reading God's Word. We must read and study it as students of the Word, who have placed themselves under the teachings of God. As a student of the Word, we must seek its understanding by inquiry, discussion, examination, and by prayer. We are to read the Bible with patience, prayer, and faith and strive after a more perfect knowledge of it, by yielding to God's Spirit.

Prayer is the most necessary requirement for understanding the intelligence of the divine and also we must learn to be patient in His presence in order to receive divine insights into spiritual realities. Our patience will be rewarded, our prayer answered, and our faith increased, as we adopt the attitude of studying the Word like students. So let us never be weary in reading the Scriptures, but let it be unto us according to the promises and benefits it delivers, as we give ourselves to it.

In 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV), Apostle Paul wrote down this direction to Timothy: 'Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman who needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.' In other words, give diligence to studying it so you can win God's full approval, like an approved worker who has nothing to be ashamed of, handling the word of truth with precision.
