As I end this topic with this article, I want to inspire you today with few thoughts, such as reminding you that God has placed the new creation next in dignity to Christ, and has crowned us with absolute victory and dominion. The Bible says, "And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus..." (Ephesians 2:6 NIV). So God Himself has positioned us with Christ in the highest realm of dignity, glory and honour, which are the main attributes of royal dominion. And you know what? He didn't make mistake; it was on purpose based on Christ's victory.

But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.
When Johannine literature has made it clear that the Spirit of God who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world, it means that there is no limit to the victory God has given us in Christ. God has put the devil and all the forces contrary to His eternal purpose for us, under our feet. So we have a glorious destiny in Christ Jesus because we've been exalted far above the devil, and the world of sin.
In Colossians 2:15, the Bible tells us: "And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross" (NIV). Jesus disgraced the principalities and powers, and made a mockery of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Empowering us with this level of spiritual understanding is the key to navigating our Christian faith effectively and functioning with a greater sense of superiority over the devil and the world, in which sinful pleasures and wickedness are the main part of their compelling features.
For this reason, Johannine epistolary dictates keep assuring us of this victory with an empowering approach, saying:
I am writing to you, fathers, because you know Him who is from the beginning. I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, dear children, because you know the Father. I write to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one (1 John 2:13-14 NIV).
Why did John the Evangelist persuade the saints to strongly believe in their victory, thereby delivering it as a written reminder? He did not want us to undermine our sense of victory, in any way or form. Therefore underline his reminder in your heart, so you can gain a complete foothold with your true identity as an overcomer in Christ Jesus - advantageously.
Notice also, that you are to be strong in Lord and allow the Word of God to grow in you, not just to live in you, which means that you must be inseparably connected to the Word. That way, you function as one who has overcome the evil one, and then grow from strength to strength, in the realm of unquestionable victory. Shalom!
Heavenly Father, there is great beauty in my chief appendage to a victorious living in Christ, and I acknowledge that the governing influence of your fatherly strength in my life is to infinity and beyond. In the divine and mortal realms, I am superior to the devil and the world, and I exercise absolute victory and dominion over sin, sickness, evil and wickedness, with the sense of divine purpose, as I practicalize my supernatural life in Christ, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
