WORD OF HIS UNFAILING LOVE

God’s love is unfailing, consistent, and steadfast. The Bible is the Holy Book that contains words that affirm to us that God's love is unfailing, unmovable, and unconditional. Every day, you need a reminder about God's love because it is a powerful presence in your life that activates unusual favours. That means, the best way to receive this confirmation in your spirit daily, is to turn to the Word.

Reference: Psalm 143:8 New International Version (NIV) 'Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.'

God's love is an active presence in our lives and it builds and strengthens us through varying seasons. It is not moved by the storms of life, rather it serves as a present help and comfort, especially during the challenging times of life. However its more effective in the lives of those who put their trust in God.

Our Scripture reference was David's early morning prayer. He desired the word of God's unfailing love, as he woke up. Notice that the Psalmist didn't just put his trust in God; he entrusted his entire life to God. That's how and why the love of God worked for him. So its one thing to acknowledge and accept God's unfailing love and its another thing for it to work for you. Trusting God is one of the ways to put it to work in your life.

When you allow God's unfailing love to work for you, you can never be discouraged in life, instead you'll be full of courage because it uplifts and carries you through. 'Unfailing love' means reliable or constant love. Its a 'love without error or fault'. It is characterised by your intimacy with God.

Once you are soaked into God, His love begins to be made manifest in your life. That's why the Psalmist woke up with it in his mind and acknowledged the source - the Word of God. He called it the 'word' of His unfailing love. Therefore allow yourself to become thoroughly wet by this love. How? by immersing your mind in His Word - on a daily basis.

God's love offers refuge, hope and peace to the weary souls. No wonder Psalm 36:7 (NIV) says, 'How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.' It shows us the way we should go. That means, it grants direction. Allow God to mingle into you and take you deeper in His love through intimacy.

Like David, when you come to that point where you're conscious of this love and deeply in love with God, the Holy Spirit will begin to transport you from the limited possibilities just within human kind into the boundless possibilities that are within the God kind. The same Holy Spirit will animate His characters in your life in a wide variety of forms.

Guided Prayer: Dear Father, I acknowledge today that your love is always active and present in my life, as an operational model and inspiration for my all-round success. Your unfailing love is as vast as the heavens and your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. My spiritual senses are designed to perceive this love each new morning and my mind is controlled by it to serve my purpose in Christ, in Jesus' Name, Amen!
