THE ORIGIN OF GOD AND HIS THRONE ROOM

The Lord reigns from the heavens and He is clothed with majesty. On His throne, the Lord is robed. He has girded Himself with strength and power and He has no retirement plan because of His origin. His eternality is out of this world such that He cannot come to an end and His testimonies are very sure.

Reference: Psalm 93:2 New King James Version (NKJV) "Your throne is established from of old; You are from everlasting."

God is a timeless investor and all His strategies for His establishments are eternal, in terms of all His purposes. He doesn't need new experiences and ideas because He is all-knowing. He is immortal and cannot be proven otherwise. He is the architect and science of living things; He is ageless because He has no beginning and He lives forever.

The unveilings of God's Word on the ground of His origin are fearful and unfathomable in thoughts. The human mind can never fully understand the mysterious nature of God's origin. We all find His eternality too cryptic. Even the administration of everlasting life demands that we hold God in high esteem because it is a mystery that Christ came to live in humans to eternise us. If we are not careful, we can take the truth that God is everlasting in nature for granted and such discernment level will affect our commitment to Him. So today, this topic is designed to produce a new enriching experience of mental divinity in us.

In our referenced Scripture, the Psalmist acknowledged that God's throne is established from of old. In other words, it is ancient and the oldest throne in existence even before the foundations of the world were laid. In a more detailed presentation, the constructive materials used for the foundation of this throne room, which is also known as divine court, are righteousness and justice. And the construction is the largest throne structure or establishment that ever exists. According to Psalm 89:14 (NLT), the creative construction of the throne room was done with abstract entities, yet in heaven they are more real than anything evident on earth because the construction is based on spiritual realities. The verse actually reads, "Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne. Unfailing love and truth walk before you as attendants."

Psalm 97:2 also recorded the same: Righteousness and justice are His throne's foundation. These spiritual entities attend to God in the throne room or divine court. For instance, Psalm 85, verses 11 and 13 declare, "And righteousness shall look down from heaven...Righteousness goes as a herald before him, preparing the way for his steps." These are continuous absolute unseen transactions going on between heaven and earth. By considering the other constructive material known as justice, we perfectly understand that the throne room was also designed for judgement purposes. In other words, both spiritual entities, righteousness and justice, used for establishing the throne room's foundation were actually for a divine purpose because Psalm 9:7-8 (ESV) reads, "But the LORD sits enthroned forever; he has established his throne for justice. He shall judge the world in righteousness, And He shall administer judgment for the peoples in uprightness", which is justice.

Beloved, God is real and His throne is the reigning, control centre of everything that ever exists or existed. While speaking to the people of Athens and the foreigners in their land, Paul stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus and said: "...We should not think that the Divine Being is like gold or silver or stone - an image made by human design and skill. In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now He commands all people everywhere to repent. For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead" (Acts 17:29-30 NIV).

If you are reading this and you are not yet born again, it means you are an unbeliever; you are dead in your spirit, which needs the urgency of quickening so you can become born again. Please don't overlook God's command to repent and turn to Him. Candidly, don't be very comfortable in that dangerous state because "time" is the only opportunity humans have to receive Christ and invest in eternity. After that is judgement!
