ROYAL HEADSHIP - PART 4

In accordance with Merriam-Webster dictionary, headship definition and meaning state:

The position, office, or dignity of a head.

This definition greatly applies to the context of this topic, "Royal headship." In this regard, Deuteronomy 28:13 reads, "The Lord will make you the head [leader] and not the tail [follower]; and you will be above only, and you will not be beneath, if you listen and pay attention to the commandments of the Lord your God, which I am commanding you today, to observe them carefully" (AMP). Beloved, God has made us the head in Christ Jesus, who has fulfilled the entire law and all the demands of the prophets.

Reference: Ephesians 2:6-7 The Message (MSG)

"Then He picked us up and set us down in highest heaven in company with Jesus, our Messiah. Now God has us where He wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus."

If the right understanding of this topic has been the organ for receiving the gospel truth, then it is absolutely right to say that all the saints function as royal heads in this present world. We lead the way because we are the light of the world and we function as children of light.

As the head, Jesus said: "You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house" (Matthew 5:14-15 NLT). What a wonderful way to know that you are glittering in your world as a lambency. In other words, you're always positioned at the top to shine forth, and your light is an overpowering, glorious illumination due to the perfection of divine positioning system in the Kingdom of light. Hallelujah!

Gaining the understanding that the Lord Jesus used the most significant and picturesque illustrations, such as a city and a lamp for His expression which aptly describe our radiance or raying out from the top - shows that you cannot afford to function in this Kingdom without the "headship" mentality.

Therefore, in your office as a royal headship, reviving this superior mentality and being constantly awakened to its reality in your personal life - will always grant you the overall advantage, bearing in mind that God has made you the head, not the tail and you're above only, not beneath, on account of Christ's overwhelming victory on the cross. Now you can beam your glorious light on the darkened earth - from the very top where you are jointly seated with Christ Jesus.

And here is the practical conclusion that comes from the above specified expository knowledge: The effect of the new birth is to function in accordance with the position, office, or dignity of a head, which will in turn, arm or equip you with the ability to exercise supreme authority and absolute dominion in Christ - with an unwavering boldness.
