ESTABLISHING THE UNSEEN
WEDNESDAY 23 FEBRUARY 2022
We can establish the unseen as a reality with the assurance of faith-filled words. Simply put, we are called to live by faith, not by sight. Choose to believe the Word of God and apply it to your life and situations even when what it says about you doesn't seem like it in your life.
Reference: Hebrews 11:3 New Living Translation (NLT)
"By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God's command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen."
The universe we see today was decorated with God's command, which is heavier than anything in existence. The entire universe was not made from anything or any material. All of space and time and their properties, including the planets and more, emerged as God passed a decree. There was no error or observational improvement, in terms of God coming back to correct what He established by His Word. In fact, every creation was perfect as God spoke and their descriptions were consistent with His command.
Now the only way to understand that the realities we see today came from the unseen - is by faith. Today, I want to talk about the unseen desires in your heart and in your imaginations, including the ideas occupying your mental space. You can produce them through your faith-filled words. When the pictures that form the mental imagery of the desire in your heart are consistently interpreted with words from Biblical perspective, they become faith-filled declarations.
As you visualize great ideas and dream big dreams, they become desires you hold dearly in your heart. However, they may seem beyond reach, but you must continue to speak it forth and increase your faith in the Word by constant meditations. Significantly, with an open mind and express-worded demonstrations, we can patiently bring them to pass if we do not waver. This is why in Christ, we must be full of God's Word, and be evermore conscious of the truth that our words are powerful and not ordinary because they are charged with divine thoughts, burning with lasting purposes and flowing in harmony with divine will. As we do so, our faith becomes possible in the establishment and fulfilment of our desires when we speak.
Romans 4:17 (NIV) says this about Abraham, "That is what the Scriptures mean when God told him, "I have made you the father of many nations." This happened because Abraham believed in the God who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing." Beloved, Abraham didn't just believe, he answered the name, " the father of many nations" which God labelled him, even before he bore a son at old age. Against all hope, Abraham believed in the name and spoke accordingly, in agreement with God to bring into existence that which did not exist.
Be intentional about your words and make it a habit to consciously speak words in line with the Scriptures. Believe that what God says concerning you, including your heart's desires, must come to pass; then speak them into existence. The Bible says, "And in keeping with what is written: "I believed, therefore I have spoken," we who have the same spirit of faith also believe and therefore speak" (2 Corinthians 4:13 BSB). In other words, always ensure that the context of your words is eminently in harmony with the Word of God concerning your desires.
As you speak, refuse to observe any contrary condition and focus on the unseen reality until it is established. 2 Corinthians 4:18 reads, "For we fix our attention, not on things that are seen, but on things that are unseen. What can be seen lasts only for a time, but what cannot be seen lasts forever" (GNT). Shalom!
Scripture Reading - Isaiah 55:11; Proverbs 18:21; Matthew 21:22; Mark 11:23-24.
Exuberant Declaration: By faith I understand that the entire universe was formed at God's command from unseen realities. Therefore, by having and exercising the same faith, I establish realities with power-filled declarations from my inward being, with sincere and strong faith in the Word. True faith is a working grace functioning in my life, with external evidences established from nothing to something, to the glory of God. Hallelujah!
