BY THE RIGHT WORDS - PART 10

FRIDAY 19 JUNE 2026

Reference: Proverbs 18:20 English Standard Version (ESV)

"From the fruit of a man's mouth his stomach is satisfied; he is satisfied by the yield of his lips."

The penning of today's article is not focused on any segment of our referenced Scripture above, but rather it is centered on the entire versified reference.

Beloved, Jeremiah 15:16 reads, "Your words were found, and I ate them. Your words became my joy and my heart's delight. For I bear Your name, O LORD God of Hosts" (BSB).

Prophet Jeremiah was wholly satisfied with the words He found and ate. So the complex sentence, "When I discovered Your words, I ate them up" is indicative of Jeremiah entertaining the right "spiritual diet" consumption with the mouth and his stomach being satisfied with adequate "anointing-related" enriching food. Then, they became his great joy and his heart's delight.

However, it is essentially wise to have and nurture a strong foundation with a deepened knowledge of the Word, as well as sustain an ongoing refinement of cognitive assimilation, so as to enhance your spiritual stomach with a substantial yield of your lips.

In accordance with Johannine literature numbered as John 12:49-50, the Lord Jesus said, "I don't speak on my own authority. The Father who sent me has commanded me what to say and how to say it. And I know that His command leads to eternal life. So I speak exactly what the Father has told Me to say" (BSB).

The Lord Jesus could precisely speak the mind of God due to His intimate relationship and inextricable unity with God the Father. Notably and markedly, His verbal deliveries were full of Spirit and life (John 6:63 KJ21) because His words flowed from His Father's heart and mind.

Question: How often do you cultivate and foster such intimate fellowship with Divine trinity, such that it can bestow supreme quality or sublime effects on your verbal wordings?

Now watch this:

It is the Word and the Spirit of truth that make undeniable and viable difference between us [the saints] and those who entertain worldly influences in their speechifications:

To instantiate this "worthwhile" verity via Biblical reference, the New King James Version of Pauline epistolary expression numbered as 1st Corinthians 2:12-13 reads:

"Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual."

Beloved, in a world replete with several transmissive voices and all manner of information-oriented materials, for your words to carry and demonstrate valuable, imparting, empowering, inspirational, transformative, creative, "life-changing" lasting impact, and exceptional relevance beyond the bounds of ordinary human expression, you must pay ardent attention to the Word and eat it like Jeremiah did.

To that effect, Pauline epistolary expression numbered as Colossians 3:16 reads, "Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly..." (ESV). If you let the Word of Christ, in all its richness, fill your mouth and pile up in your heart, over time, the message will become your functional identity, because the Word is highly powered with supreme ability to reveal and reproduce itself in your life as the mirror that dictates what you should value and act on, as well as how you build yourself up, thereby shaping who you become. Shalom!

Scripture Reading - Proverbs 12:18; Matthew 12:37; Luke 21:15; 1 Thessalonians 1:5.

Exuberant Declaration:

My spoken words are not common in an earthly sense; they are always filled with valuable spiritual insights, which are sustained and backed up by the excellency of the Great High priest, namely Christ. I habitually speak and declare the wisdom of God as my true identity, which constantly unfolds in my life and world as result-oriented possibilities and favourable outcomes, thereby making me a full beneficiary of God's exceeding riches and glorious grace. Hallelujah!
