Reference: John 1:16 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
"For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace."
Grace is the pledge and prophecy of heaven to earth. When the time was ripe, Grace was born. To that effect, the Bible says, "But when the set time had fully come, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship" (Galatians 4:4-5 NIV). So grace arrived at a well-timed or heaven-sent opportunity in accordance with the fulfilment of Isaiah's prophecy which reads:
"For to us a Child shall be born, to us a Son shall be given; And the government shall be upon His shoulder, And His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this" (Isaiah 9:6-7 ESV).
Now watch this: From the standpoint of the above versified passage, you'll notice that the full rendering is a prophetic procession. Grace from the throne of GRACE firstly manifested as what? As a child! To expound Isaiah's prophecy in an untangled explication, I have to divide the Scriptural passage into 5 segments with Biblical instances below:
1. For to us a Child shall be born:
In other words, grace appeared as a child. To that effect, Luke 2:6-7 reads, "While they were there, the time came for her Child to be born. And she gave birth to her firstborn, a Son. She wrapped Him in swaddling cloths and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn" (BSB). Grace was born when the full time came.
2. To us a Son shall be given:
Notice that the second segment implies that a son is given, meaning that grace is no longer a child, but a Son. After giving us a child, we were given a Son, meaning that they were not the same version of gift, even though it is the same GRACE. What is the difference? Understanding of the times and seasons. As a Son, grace knew what to do, which He couldn't do as a child. Got it? To that effect, Johannine literature numbered as John 3:16 reads, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (NKJV). What did God give us in Johannine rendering? A GRACE, namely Son, a qualified level for perfect sacrificial death on behalf of mankind (markedly - as a Son, not as a child).
3. And the government shall be upon His shoulder:
In other words, grace would be crucified on the cross, after bearing us on His shoulder. To that effect, Johannine literature reads, "So then He delivered Him to them to be crucified. So they took Jesus and led Him away. He went out, bearing His cross, to the place called "The Place of a Skull", which is called in Hebrew, "Golgotha", where they crucified Him, and with Him two others, on either side one, and Jesus in the middle. Pilate wrote a title also, and put it on the cross. There was written, "JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS" (John 19:16-19 WEB). The cross, which represents the government - was carried upon His shoulder enroute to Golgotha, and the Jews, including the Gentiles were on that cross invisibly, for this is a faithful saying: If we died with Him, We shall also live with Him (2 Timothy 2:11 NKJV).
4. And His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace:
In other words, the Son is now glorified in accordance with the above names given by Isaiah's prophecy, having completed His mission on the cross, bringing salvation to all men. To that effect, Johannine literature reads, "I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began" (John 17:4-5 NIV). Got it?
Beloved, join me to glorify Grace in God's presence as the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace...Glory to God!
5. Of the increase of His government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over His kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore:
Of the increase of His government which is inclusive of my superior humble self and then, all the saints, it shall be eternal. This also entails the throne of David, and that of Kingdom of heaven. Now watch this: On what foundation does the Lord establish and uphold His government? In accordance with Isaiah's prophecy, it is established on the foundation of justice and righteousness denoting the foundation of the throne of grace numbered as Psalm 89:14 (Righteousness and justice). And indeed, the zeal of the LORD of hosts will perfect and bring this to fruition, according to Prophet Isaiah. Stay tuned for part 8. Shalom!

Guided Prayer:
Heavenly Father, you are all-powerful for granting me surplus grace in the Lord Jesus Christ who, of His own accord, laid down His life for me. I acknowledge that the right key to the path of endless grace is by faith in your dear Son, whose dominion is so vast and transcendent, with peace and prosperity that will never come to an end. He reigns on the throne of David and over His Kingdom, to establish and sustain it with justice and righteousness, both now and forevermore, and I'm immensely grateful that I'm a peculiar treasure in the Kingdom of light, in Jesus' Name, Amen!
