To deepen your sublime spiritual understanding of God's truth, you aren't just going to display an appetency for insightful discoveries at surface level, your assiduous diligence necessitates digging for deeper layers of understanding, including connotations and denotations, versified significances and historical contexts, associated divine notions, as well as their clarified implications.
Hence, deepening your spiritual understanding rightly involves a deep or thorough insight into spiritual truths, as opposed to cursory observations in your Scripture-based interactions. Such critical appraisal and profound analyses can be time-consuming, inclusive of solemn prayerful considerations, and it requires utmost focused attention, enthusiastic commitment, and contemplative energy, rather than mere desultory and perfunctory indulgences. More below!Â

Reference: Isaiah 42:20-21 GOD'S WORD® Translation (GW)
"Seeing many things, but you do not observe; Opening the ears, but He does not hear. The LORD is pleased because He does what is right. He praises the greatness of His teachings and makes them glorious."
Today's article is majored on the final segment:
"He praises the greatness of His teachings and makes them glorious."
The Psalmist stated in Psalm 138:2 saying, "I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your WORD above all Your name" (NKJV). The Lord magnifies and exalts His teachings and also, makes it glorious or honourable. Why? Because He is righteous. So this very inspired teaching is from God, not from me; I only reflect and demonstrate the teaching power of God at work in me, as a supreme god on earth. This insightful enlightenment buttresses the putative notice that the power and effectiveness of the gospel is of God alone, on account of His sovereignty and wisdom, not human intelligence and ability.
The written revelation of the teachings of God is fully contained in the Holy Scriptures as Biblical truths. In the old Testament writings, the teachings are constructively considered as His laws, precepts, commands, ordinances, or dicta. So the very Old Testament writing does not lay much emphasis on the formal doctrine of the Trinity such as, "the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit"... in a way that conveys a trinitarian understanding of Godhead, as it is patently expressed in the New Testament written work.
Furthermore, the greatness of God's teachings in a mystery entails "treasures" of wisdom and knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. Pauline revelation acknowledged it in Colossians 2:3 which reads, "that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God's mystery, which is Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge" (NLT). Advertently, the teachings of Christ had been a hidden Gospel, until He was revealed on earth as the Son of the true living God. Stay tuned for more in part 10. Shalom!
Scripture Reading - Proverbs 4:7; Jeremiah 33:3; Proverbs 14:29; Psalm 119:130.
Exuberant Declaration:
I often come under the powerful influence and graceful comeliness of the Spirit of God, through my sedulous interest in gaining constant access to the greatness of divine teachings. Praise God!
