One of the instruction-conditioned versified statements in Proverbial edition of Solomonic inspired wisdom reads, "Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord" (Proverbs 16:20 NIV).
There can be no other hidden truth to the manner of fact that a godly man is absolutely empowered to be blessed by taking heed to moral instructions - with an attitude of a nurtured expectation of highly enhanced beneficial manifestation of the impressive output level of huge-impact Kingdom blessings connected to moral instructions. "Buy the truth and do not sell it—wisdom, instruction and insight as well."
Moral instructions are not automatically sensitive to sensory imputs such as hearing (aural significance), sight (vision), smell (olfaction), taste (gustation) and touch (tactition). By this I mean that such multi-purpose and life-giving instructions are truly discovered and profitably actioned by divine inspiration that emanates from giving ourselves to the ministry of the Word and enabling influence of the God's Spirit on a regular basis. So we must be increasingly involved in gaining an unceasing and accumulated acquisition of Biblical knowledge and even become more deliberate in escalating our spiritual exposure to high coverage and higher attainments in the study of the Word.
For instance, the book of Joshua informs us that the full-fledged possibility of enhancing one's divine knowledge of the Scripture is indisputably limitless [day & night]. It literally reads, "Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do (Joshua 1:8 NLT). Notably, you must be habitual in studying this Book of instruction, in order to play the vital role of exploring and grasping the unparalleled details of the moral instructions embedded in it - by communicative and cogitative spiritual exercise inspired by the Spirit of truth.
From an exhortatory tone, I humbly suggest that while studying the Word, aptly develop the valuable habit of receiving divine realities with a possible acquisition target - on a daily basis. Don't just study the Word for study sake, otherwise you'll end up with head knowledge, which does not have the capacity to awaken divine experiences and overwhelming divine encounters. Above and beyond, you must tactically endeavour to achieve and imbibe a "learned" acquirement which should be absorbed within and noted each time you spend time with the Word. Question: What can this "learned" acquirement do to your soul and spirit? Answer: The Common English Bible version of Davidic inspired Psalmody has noted that the Lord's instruction is perfect, reviving one's very being; the Lord's laws are faithful, making naive people wise" (Psalm 19:7). Got it!
Beloved, be overly concerned about ensuring the continual development of the Word in your soul and spirit because that is exactly the right way to buy the truth; wisdom, instruction and insight, and mix them together for high-quality beneficial effects of exerting the intense expressiveness of their positive impacts in your life and world without selling them. Therefore, you must become a life-long conscious participant in gaining and assimilating spiritual realities, denoting that you should never let the Word [Book of divine instruction] have any difficult time settling down within you (Colossians 3:16 AMPC).
